STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

The belief that education is the prop, on which the success of every successful woman stands,
has been woven intricately into the very fabric of my being by my family. To pursue a post-
graduation degree is therefore a natural step forward in living this belief.
Having completed my undergraduate studies in the field of Computer Science engineering
from Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology in 2015, I joined in a private tution
centre for 2 months as a tutor but do not have much experience in the field I had studied.
Being a very creative person I’ve always felt this pull to work in a medium that helps me give
expression to my creativity.So,I believe I need more knowledge and experience on the field I
had studied. Right from the school level I have been deeply involved in extracurricular
activities, participated in several art competitions and helped organize events such as the
annual school fest. At college, as an active member of the cultural and art committees I
enjoyed organizing cultural events and publicizing them through posters, music, videos,
etc.The interest in technical and computer took me to choose Btech in Computer science. A
year back, I had decided to do my masters as my husband encourages me to achieve my
dream position. From my childhood i have various memory of my uncle & aunt who were
settled in uk, from their culture and lifestyle i got some inspiration which later become my
ambition to study abroad and need to work there.As I am a graduate in Computer Science
engineering I should give preference to the courses that support my graduation.So, I choose a
course which were related to investigation and security that leads to deal with crime
intelligence and data analytics.

HOW THIS COURSE WILL BENEFIT ME?

If I am provided with an admission Master’s Degree in Crime intelligence and Data

analytics (with Advance Practise) in UK, I stand privileged on many counts. A SWOT
analysis before and after the course can only quantify the specific advantages gained by me.
This course will provides me the sense of cause and prevention of crime which measures that
can be put in place to stabilize and reverse these trends. This course also help me to achieve
skills to work efficiently and effectively with datasets, allowing find cyber-crimes Also I can
expect to apply for an intelligence researcher and intelligence analyst role in a wide variety of
career opportunities ranging from security, policing and business .Its boundless possibilities
and instant outcomes are what I find most stimulating and appealing about Computer
Science. I believe that keeping an explorative attitude and inquisitive mind is the key to a
constant learning process. As I am a graduate, I want to pursue post graduate studies to
further refine my skills and knowledge in this area of interest. I think crime intelligence,
digital forensics are the postgraduate programmes that will give my career the right direction
of becoming a research professional at research-oriented, commercial or academic
organisations. I believe it will also serve to give a proper pathway to my career as a research
professional at an academic-, commercial-, research-oriented organisation. I intend to pursue
an MS degree in order to reach that goal. I have benefited vastly from the breadth of Teesside
University’s postgraduate syllabus and gained a comprehensive exposure to many core areas
of the field. In my four years of study at Kerala University, I have learnt how to maintain an
independent approach in all my endeavours. However, for my MS programme, I am open to
topics focussing on other areas like data analytics, mobile forensics, cyber security. No doubt,
if admitted, this programme will definitely give a chance for me to shake hands more
confidently on a common platform with any organization that employs me. Of course, I need
the support and benevolence of God at all points of time to register any achievement in my
life. I fervently wish and pray that I be provided a chance to grow up with the Teesside
University in shaping my professional career.

I am a firm believer of the fact that if one has to do something, one should rather do it well.

I believe it’s important to expose oneself to people from different cultures, backgrounds,
countries etc. The best teams are formed of people who share high proficiencies in their
respective skills as opposed to people who share the same culture or colour. UK is the perfect
place to get this sort of exposure as it attracts students from all over the world. The unique
culture and customs of this English speaking country with no extreme climate can’t be a
second choice for anyone. The various indicators indicating overall developments, rich
natural resources, impressive academic standards, very good employment potential, stable
economy, adoption of technological advancement in various fronts, keeps this country on par
with any other European country and offer every reason to envy.I have no hesitation to state
that the cost of living is very much affordable and the country’s currency is also one of the
best to make UK a world leader.The entire purpose of exposing oneself to a multinational

personal growth.
After completion of my post-graduation I need to come back to India and wish to work in a
multinational company which provide me to obtain a creative and challenging position in an
organization that gives me an opportunity for self-improvement and leadership, while
contributing to the symbolic growth of the organization with my technical and logical skills.
