Abstract
A quasi three-dimensional nearshore circulation model, namely shorecirc, was applied in this study for
understanding nearshore circulation generated by breaking waves. The model was previously developed by
Putrevu and Svendsen (1993) in the Center for Applied Coastal Research (CACR). in order to do a sensitivity test
of wave parameters, i.e. wave breaker angle, height and period, to the magnitude of longshore current velocity, the
model was applied to synthetic, simple and plane beach. From the sensitivity test, it is known that the magnitude
of longshore current is significantly influenced by the wave angle. An Increasing in the breaking wave angle will
produce a bigger magnitude of longshore current than the one that generated breaking wave almost orthogonal to
the shore line. Further, The model was applied to the Dadap coastal waters located in Indramayu- Indonesia.
Model application the Dadap coastal waters is agreed with measurement data.

Abstract
Boberg-Lantz method is one of a method that is used to predict oil rate performance of huff & puff injection steam wells.
Boberg-Lantz Method describes process of the stimulation using ananalytical model and step functions of average
temperature between front and rear of the steam injection. The forecasting performance shows that it couldn,t represent
early production performance when increase up to peak production. Base on that reason, this research was done to
ignore the fore casting profile of the peak production time, because the method of Bpberg-Lantz doesn’t analyze that
early period of the ptoduct on profile. Furthermore, this research is dedicated towards modification of the Boberg-Lantz
method to analyze sensitives of time injection and steam mass to the time to peak production, and it has been resulted a
new equation which is more representating the maximum of performance production in the fields.
Keywords: Boberg-Lantz method, modified Boberg-Lantz method, time to peak of production, maximum production rate,
time of injection, mass of steam injection.

27000 kaki (8230 meter) panjang sumur.

Abstract
Oilfield maturity and oil production declining worldwide becomes the main reason that makes many companies
have been trying to improve the recovery factor of the reservoir reserves with many methods in term of drilling,
production and reservoir engineering. Dealing with that condition, radial drilling technology seems as an
alternative, because with applying radial drilling technique we can improve the drainage efficiency from the
known layer. It means that radial drilling technique become as a promising method to be applied in many mature
oilfields worldwide. Radial drilling technique has been tested, developed, and applied in more than 500 wells and
has already reach more than 27000 feet (8230 m) hole length. Radial drilling was applied to increase wellbore
drainage radius which can increase hydrocarbon production from 200% until 400%. This paper shows the cutting
transport calculation process for several value of jet flow. The study of this paper is based on radial drilling case
in Golfo San Jorge Basin (Argentina), with those field data we can calculate the optimum ROP using solid content
sensitivity analysis for each jet flow value and as the result of this paper is the relationship between the value of
ROP, solid content, and jet flow value. The results of this paper study can be applied in other oilfields as long as
the oilfield’s drilling tool configuration is same with the configuration of Golfo San Jorge Basin drilling tools
which used in this paper calculation. But the cutting transport calculation procedure in this paper can be applied
in any oilfields.

Abstract
The double-difference (DD) method is a relative hypocenter relocation method developed by extending Geiger’s
method using residual time data of pairs of events to each seismographic station. In this study, the location
determination method used absolute travel-time measurements and accurate P-and S-wave differential travel-time
measurements. A least-squares solution was employed to solve the iterative adjustment of the vector difference
(dt0,dx0,dy0,dz0) between pairs of events. A multiplet clustering analysis was applied to select the hypocenter
pairs that have similar and small separation compared to the event – station distance and the scale length of the
velocity heterogeneity, so the ray paths from the source region to a common station are similar. In this case the
difference in travel times for two events observed at one station can be used to determine the spatial (relative)
offset between the events with high accuracy. This the effect of the errors related to unknown velocity model can be
minimized. Here, the algorithm used only the P-wave travel-time measurements. However, it can provide a
significant improvement in the hypocenter location. The algorithm collapses the diffused locations obtained from
Single Event Determination and Joint Hypocenter Determination into sharp images of seismicity and defines the
internal structure of Mt. Kelud in detail.
