Your journey in art starts here. Sunway’s Department of Art & Design is the
matchmaker between techniques and your talent. Our programmes bring you
beyond discrete boundaries, drawing lines to connect and create infinite
possibilities.

We provide a nurturing, supportive and passionate atmosphere for creating

art beyond the constraints of a specific programme. More than paint brushes,
our fine art students are taught computer skills relevant in the design industry.
Beyond architectural graphics, students of interior design learn ceramics to
have a better understanding of forms in a space. Graphic and multimedia
design students not only learn digital techniques but get hands-on experience
in printmaking to appreciate the physical approaches in image-making.

Our programmes combine the creative focus of an art and design school with
the resources of a full-fledged university campus. The faculty at the Department
of Art & Design maintains the highest academic and artistic standards and is
made up of practising artists and designers.

park, restaurants and banks. Choose between the communal living of the Sun-U Apartment or the
condominium lifestyle of Sun-U Residence. A caring hostel master is on hand to oversee the welfare
of every occupant.

Safety & security

Here, the committed security team is made up of Auxiliary Police and trained professionals who work
around the clock to ensure that every day is a smooth and peaceful one.
Whenever a student feels under the weather, they can make their way to the sick bay. Endearingly
known as Nightingale Bay, it is situated near the cafeteria where a matronly Registered Nurse is on
duty and well-equipped to handle minor ailments.
Career placement & alumni
