Gas Analysis

An on-line gas chromatograph shall be provided and installed at the Delivery Gas Station to measure
the concentration of N2, CO2 and Methane, ethane, Propane, Iso- butane , N-butane, ISO –pentane,
normal pentane etc. .The gas chromatograph be able to be programmed for the heating value (BTU)
& WOBBE Index and specific gravity of the flowing gas stream.

The gas chromatograph gas sample shall be taken from a common gas sampling point. Separate
dedicated dew point analyser shall be provided which shall have a maximum scan time of 4 seconds

One reference gas cylinder and two carrier gas cylinders shall be provided and installed as part of the
gas chromatograph system. Manifolding shall be provided and installed for the carrier gas cylinders to
allow for removal of one cylinder without disrupting the flow of carrier gas to the detector.

An on line hydrocarbon dew point, H2S, CO2 and moisture analysers shall also be provide and installed
at the gas metering station to determine the moisture content. Calibration gases for online verification
of H2S and CO2 analysers shall be provided and installed as a part of metering system

Gas Sample Point

The sample probe and pressure regulating for the gas chromatograph shall be installed on the piping
upstream of the meter station streams. The Vendor shall supply and install the gas sample probe
assembly and ensure that it does not cause interruption to the flow of gas and that it can be inserted
under pressure into the pipe. Sample volume, flow rate and sample lag shall be maintained to
achieve consistence accuracy. The probe shall insert 1/3 way into the process stream
