INFORMATION BULLETIN
IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. Online applications are invited from the candidates who intend to take
admission into language Pandit Training Course (LPT) in Government IASE /
CTEs and Private Language Pandit Training Colleges in the State of
Telangana through LPCET – 2018 on the dates to be notified shortly through
Computer Based Test (CBT) online mode. Applications will be received only
through ‘ONLINE’ on LPCET -2018 website http://lpcet.cdse.telangana.gov.in
from 10.04.2018 to 24.04.2018.
iii. The candidates shall follow the procedure for submission of online
application as given in the ‘Information Bulletin’ and user guide and
instructions provided online while filling up the online application
form. The Candidate should be ready with photograph of size less
than 50 kb and the signature of the candidate shall be less than
30 kb.’

a) Applications with no photo / unclear photo / inadequate size
photograph will be rejected. Hall – Ticket will not be issued to
such candidates. Hence, after pressing the ‘UPLOAD’ button
check if the photo is of required size, clear and is of the same
candidate of whom the details are to be filled in the
application. If the photo is smaller in size, not clear or does
not belong to the candidate press ‘UPLOAD’ button below the
photograph on the application form and ‘UPLOAD’ again.
4. Schedule Of Examination:
(B) He/She should satisfy Local / Non Local Status requirements as laid down
in the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulation and Admission Rules
1974) as amended from time to time.
(C) Age Limit: The candidates should have completed 19 years of age as on
the 1st July of the year of admission i.e. 01.07.2018. There is no upper age
limit.
(D) Educational Qualifications: The candidates who have passed the minimum
qualifying examinations mentioned below are eligible to apply, as per
G.O.Ms.No.97, Education (SE-Trg-1) Department, dt.05.12.2006 read

Telugu Pandit Must possess Graduation with Telugu as one of the Optional
subjects /Graduation in Telugu Literature /Bachelor’s Degree in
Oriental Language (BOL) in Telugu / Post Graduation Degree in
Telugu, from a University recognised by UGC, with minimum 50%
marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates,
the minimum marks shall be 45%).
Hindi Pandit Must possess Graduation with Hindi as one of the Optional
subjects / Graduation in Hindi Literature / Bachelor’s Degree in
Oriental Language (BOL) in Hindi/Post Graduation Degree in Hindi,
from a University recognised by UGC with minimum 50% marks
(In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates, the
minimum marks shall be 45%).
Urdu Pandit Must possess Graduation with Urdu as one of the Optional
subjects / Graduation in Urdu Literature/ Bachelor’s Degree in
Oriental Language (BOL) in Urdu / Post Graduation Degree in
Urdu, from a University recognised by UGC with minimum 50%
marks (In case of SC / ST / BC / Differently abled candidates,
the minimum marks shall be 45%).
Note: 1) The candidates who have passed the above examination as on the
date of submission of application are eligible to appear for LPCET
– 2018.

is to say, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled
Tribes Communities should secure 35% of marks for consideration
against seats under OC category. Similarly, in case of NCC /
Defence Personnel or their children and spouses / Sports
Categories also the minimum marks required are 35%.”

*The medium of LPCET shall be Telugu, Hindi and Urdu Language for the
respective Pandit Training Programmes.”
Note: (a) Only the candidates who obtain qualifying marks in the LPCET shall be
assigned ranks as per order of merit. However SC & ST candidates
shall be given ranks as per merit order of marks secured by them in
LPCET irrespective of qualifying mark for admission into their
respective categories.

7. Allotment of Seats:
All the sanctioned intake of seats in Language Pandit Training Course in the
Govt. IASEs/CTEs and Private Pandit Training Colleges shall be filled through
LPCET-2018 only. Such seats shall be allotted to the candidates on the basis of
the rank obtained in LPCET-2018. The intake capacity in each institute may
change from time to time as decided by NCTE (National Council for Teacher
Education). The admission procedure will be followed as per the Government
Orders issued by the Government from time to time.
8. Rule of Reservation:
Rule of reservation for Local Candidates, Community Wise and Special Category
reservations shall be as per the Telangana Educational Institutions (Regulations
and Admissions) Order, 1974 as amended from time to time.
The Rules governing the procedure for Counseling and admissions shall be
notified along with dates for Counseling and admissions.

11. Fee:
The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of
examination is Rs.400/-. Candidates shall pay the fee through LPCET website
between 10.04.2018 and 24.04.2018 and submit online application at the LPCET
website http://lpcet.cdse.telangana.gov.in between 10.04.2018 and 24.04.2018.
IV) Paste the photograph on a white paper and sign below (sign in Black Ink
only). Look for the sample above. Ensure that the signature is within the
box. Scan the required size containing the photograph and signature.
Please do not scan the complete page. The entire image consisting of
photo along with signature is required to be scanned and stored in *.jpeg

format on local machine. Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not
more than 50kb. If the size of the image is more than 50 kb, then adjust
the settings of the scanner such as dpi resolutions, number of colours
during the process of scanning.

scanning of the photograph.
b)Complaints relating to mismatch of photograph and candidate
details will not be accepted after submission of application at any
cost. No request for change of photos / information regarding
candidates details shall be entertained.
c)After last date of receipt of applications no corrections
(Name, DOB, Gender, Community, etc) shall be entertained under
any circumstances

working days from 07.04.2018to till the date of examination.
(e) In any case applications will not be received in any kind of
manual form.
(f) Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the dates to be
notified on the website at http://lpcet.cdse.telangana.gov.in.
Candidates may keep viewing the website for information on dates
of download of Hall Tickets. In case any candidate cannot download
the Hall ticket during the dates notified for download of Hall
Tickets, she/he should contact the help line by giving the details
of the Payment Reference ID of the fee paid and the Registration
number of the application submitted.
(g) Request for issue of duplicate Hall Ticket will not be entertained
after the examination in any case.
(h) Fee once remitted shall not be refunded under any circumstances.
(i) It is to be noted that if a candidate has been allowed to appear in
the LPCET it does not imply that the candidates' eligibility has
been verified. However qualifying the LPCET shall not confer a
right on any person for admission, unless be possesses
qualifications mentioned in G.O.Ms.No.10 SCHOOL EDUCATION
(TRG) DEPARTMENT Date :06.04.2018. The eligibility shall be,
finally, verified by the Convenor at the time of counselling for
admissions if provisionally selected.
(j) Furnishing of false, wrong or inaccurate information/ qualifications
leads to cancellation of the test result and even prosecution in
appropriate cases.
(k) No request for re-checking, re-assessment, re-evaluation or
scrutiny of Computer based test (CBT) will be entertained.
13. Issue of Rank Card:
The marks along with ranks of the candidates will be hosted on the web-site
http://lpcet.cdse.telangana.gov.in.
14.Convener LPCET 2018 reserves the right to take all actions to ascertain
genuineness of certificates of candidates and genuineness of candidates
themselves at any stage of admission or during course of study in case already
admitted.
