ANSYS Products

1. Access .\Disk1 and MOUNT m-ap2019r2a.iso (double click or use a mounting tool
such as poweriso)
2. Access the Mounted .iso file
3. Launch setup.exe (on some machines it takes a while for it to launch)
4. Click the Intall ANSYS Products option
5. Click "I Agree" on the license agreement and press Next
6. Choose an install Path or leave it with the default value
7. Press Next
8. Make sure that the ANSYS FlexNet port number is 1055
9. Set the Hostname to "localhost" (without the quotation marks)
10. Select the Ansys Applications which you you want to install by clicking them
(the Ticked marker will be present for items which will be installed)
11. Press Next
12. Set the Configurations for each application (or leave it as is), and press Next

13. Press Next in the Settings Review page

14. Wait for the application install to finish (this will take between 30m and
1hour depending on the machine)

15. In the middle of the install process, a popup will be displayed asking for the
2nd disk
In this point, mount the second .iso file located in .\DISK2\m-ap2019r2b.iso

16. Provide the path to the mounted .iso file (usually the same path if the
previous .iso has been unmounted beforehand)
17. Press OK
18. Wait for the installation to finish
19. Install the Ansys License Manager mentioned below

ANSYS License Manager

1. Mount the first .iso again (see steps 1-3 above)
2. Launch Setup.exe
3. Click Install ANSYS License Manager
4. Click "I Agree" in the license agreement and press Next
5. Select an Installation Path (or leave it default)
6. Press Next
7. Make sure the ANSYS, Inc License Manager is selected
8. Press Next
9. Press Next again in the installation overview
10. Wait for the install process to finish
11. After the installation finishes, pres Next
12. Uncheck "Launch Licese Management Center upon exiting"
13. Press Exit

Crack
1. Mount the second .iso file located in .\DISK2\m-ap2019r2b.iso
2. Copy the MAGNiTUDE folder to any location (for example the desktop)
3. Unpack the MAGNiTUDE\ansys2019r2_lm.rar archive
4. Replace files in "Program Files\ANSYS Inc\Shared Files\Licensing\winx64\" with
those extracted from ansys2019R2_lm.rar (overwrite when prompted)
5. Launch the MAGNiTUDE\A2019R2_Calc.exe file
6. Press Y and then hit the Enter key in order to generate your license file
7. A licence file shoud be created next to the binary (MAGNiTUDE\license.txt)
8. Access the Start menu and launch ANSYS License Management Center
6. Click "Add a License File"
7. Click browse and select the license.txt file generated at step 6
(MAGNiTUDE\license.txt)
8. Click Install License
9. Click "View Status/Start/Stop License Manager", and click Start if it is not
started
