PEACE AND ORDER

The desire for material gain (money or expensive belongings) leads to property crimes such as
robberies, burglaries, white-collar crimes, and auto thefts. The desire for control, revenge, or
power leads to violent crimes such as murders, assaults, and rapes. These violent crimes
usually occur on impulse or the spur of the moment when emotions run high. Property crimes
are usually planned in advance.

A. What are the lights that exist in the peace in order aspect here in the Philippines ?

- light that exist in peace and order, it reminds us of the rules and creates solidarity against the
“other” (law breakers)., reasons for committing a crime include greed, anger, jealously, revenge,
or pride.it depends on the situation if the reason of the crime is justifiable One of the reason why
people steal is because of poverty. They need the money to buy the things they need such as
food, clothes and shelter. Therefore they resort to drastic ways.in Filipino “kapit sa patalim” it
helps them earn money in ways unjust. and also revenge , when a person's pride is hit , it
creates a great deal of anger in, thus there will be retribution that will create crime. to wrap it up
it give’s people satisfaction when doing crime.

B. Why do you consider that idea as light?

- Desperation is a common reason behind many thefts. A person may not have a job or source
of income or have insufficient means to provide for their family. As a result, the person steals to
feed children or provide shelter. I consider this crime because it supports families suffering from
poverty.it give a happy or pleased feeling because of what they do. Crime isn’t bad. Crime is just
a legal distinction we slap on some behaviors we don’t like in society, and by denoting those
behaviors as “criminal” we're able to persecute “offenders” legally in order to discourage said
behavior.

C .What are the shadows that exist in peace in order aspect here in the Philippines?

- Crime is present in various forms in the Philippines, and remains a serious issue throughout
the country. Illegal drug trade, human trafficking, murder, corruption and domestic violence
remain significant concerns. The Philippines has a high rate of murder cases, which is the
highest in Southeast Asia as of 2014. The causes of crime are complex. Poverty, parental
neglect, low self-esteem, alcohol and drug abuse can be connected to why people break the
law. Some are at greater risk of becoming offenders because of the circumstances into which
they are born.

D. Why do you consider that idea as shadows?

- Crime is bad because it degrades the quality of life for all. As Heather says, nobody likes
having their stuff taken. Criminals take stuff that doesn’t belong to them, physically harm others,
or even kill others. All of these actions have repercussion for the person harmed, their families
and friends, and the community because we all feel less safe. These feelings of fear erode our
faith in each other and force us to commit resources and time towards managing this fear. The
physical and emotional impact of crime can be devastating both for those who are harmed and
for their families and friends. No matter what the crime or circumstances in which it was
committed, it may diminish the victims' sense of control and self-worth. Crime however, affects
different people in different ways.

E. How do they affect each other?

- Create strife between us because of their own beliefs called ethics , like believing in bad and
good things , crime can be good or bad, depending on your view/experience. In short, most
agree that crime is “bad” either because it erodes psychological and physical health, erodes
faith and trust in each other, or is a tool for social control.

F. What problem emerges from the contradiction found in the peace in order aspect that
affects the Philippines ?

- Crime is present in various forms in the Philippines, and remains a serious issue throughout
the country. Illegal drug is common all around the Philippines, and is a major concern. Meth and
are the most common drugs accounting most drug-related arrests., human trafficking and the
prostitution of children is a significant issue in the Philippines, often controlled by organized
crime syndicates. Human trafficking in the country is a crime against humanity. murder,
corruption and domestic violence this form of violence is gender-biased. Violence occurs
precisely because of their gender, specifically because the victims are women. remain
significant concerns.

G. How can you make things better by using the concept of Christianity morality?

- To make things better we have to learn how to forgive and forget . Forgiveness is a decision of
the will. Since God commands us to forgive, we must make a conscious choice to obey God
and forgive. The offender may not desire forgiveness and may not ever change, but that doesn’t
negate God’s desire that we possess a forgiving spirit Ideally, Of course, it is impossible to truly
forget sins that have been committed against us. We cannot selectively delete events from our
memory. The Bible states that God does not “remember” our wickedness But God is still all-
knowing. God remembers that we have “sinned and fall short of the glory of God”
