Basis Updating
Updatesof the List of Establishments (ULE) is a regular activity of the PSA. The updating activities are done using different procedures and strategies depending on the coverage and the re
available.

2015 updates was based on the complete enumeration of establishments in identified priority areas (covering about 1,596 barangays ) and updates from feedbacks on the surveys undertaken b
office and supplemented by lists from different secondary sources.

2013 and 2014 updates were based on the feedbacks from the establishment surveys undertaken by the office and supplemented by lists from different secondary sources.
2011 & 2012 updates were based on complete enumeration of establishments in identified priority areas (selected barangays); field verification of establishments from secondary sources; and, updates from feedbac

Industrial Classification used:
2009 Philippine Standard Industrial Classification

The 2009 PSIC was patterned after the United Nation's International Standard Classification (ISIC) Revision 4 (officially released by the UN Statistics Division on August 11, 2008 for adoption by
countries) . To align the existing PSIC (1994) with the ISIC Rev. 4, major changes were adopted and incorporated in the 2009 PSIC but with some modifications to reflect national situation and
requirements. It was approved for adoption by government agencies and instrumentalities through NSCB Resolution No. 2 Series of 2010 signed on February 10, 2010.
