Overview
This scenario demonstrates the process for Purchasing Labor against a Project
using the Purchased Labor expenditure type. The currency that will be used is
USD.

1.8 Enter Organization and Organization = IO ES or IO

Location = Pick from LOV

Enter supplier and supplier


site if known
1.9 Click on Distribution button 100084.600504100.570.R.PK2 TP
and then on Project Tab 00.0.0.0

1.10 Enter Project Number List of valid projects to be


provided
1.11 Enter Task LOV pick appropriate task
1.12 Enter Expenditure Type Pick Purchased Contract Labor
1.13 Enter Expenditure Org List of valid Exp Orgs to be
provided. Pick from LOV
1.14 Enter Expenditure Date Put in Todays date
1.15 Save the Requisition The Requisition number will be
created. Note the number.
1.16 Approve the Requisition. TP
1.17 In Approval Details check Hierarchy and Approvers to be “A note will open say Submit for TP

3.0 Save the Purchase Order,
3.1 Add appropriate attachments (TP) If you do this step
if required and resave the
purchase order.
3.2 Click the terms button and (TP) If you do this step
verify or change terms.
Resave the purchase order.
3.3 Approve the Purchase Order Note will say Submit for TP
Just click ok or if needs Approval. Click OK. Note will
additional approval click say “Document has been
forward, select hierarchy and submitted for Approval”

no more Purchase Orders to be
input.

3.1 Receive the Purchase Order PO Receiving > Receipts If an Org has not been selected The ‘Find Expected Receipts’ TP

receipt header if required.
Close the window.
3.4 Check the box to the left of TP
the line to indicate that you
want to receive that line.
3.5 Enter the quantity to receive. This is the amount of the PO
you want to receive.
3.6 Save your work. Click the Note the receipt number TP
Header button to view the
header with the new receipt
number. Close window
twice.
