condition based monitoring, with documentation in compliance with IATF and EMS audit.
 Successfully brought down the Power cost by a lakh monthly.
 Predictive maintenance of Switchyard transformer, Switchgear ACB (L&T), APFC panel, DG
synchronization panel and servo Stabilizer.

Kota Super Thermal Power Station, Kota (1240 MWe)


● Managing overall activities like troubleshooting and maintenance work of different Electrical
equipments like Transformers, AC Motors, Pumps, Pneumatic and Motorized Valves,
Drives, PLC, HMI.
● Have carried out Annual Maintenance Shutdown of 30 days each on 195 MW and 210 MW
power generating units.
● Having good exposure of working on Electrostatic precipitator, its operation and shutdown
Maintenance and various installation tests at Kota Super Thermal Power Station with a
capacity of 1240 MW.
● Having good exposure of Opacity Monitor its programming, Calibration and maintenance
used for determining emission level.
● Maintenance of of LT & HT switchgears, Operation of Power Plant and all auxiliaries
invoving Boiler, E.S.P, Cooling Towers, Chillers, Compressor etc.
● Hands on experience in reading SLD and carried out various modifications.
● Worked with Induction motors (0.75kw to 6000kw), Starters (DOL), Relays (analog and
digital), circuit breakers, Contactor based modules of L&T, GE & AEG-NGEF, VFD and
AVR panels by Yantra Automation and BHEL.
● Discovering faults, sorting them in complex control circuits and power circuits of DOL
Starters, Circuit Breakers (mostly ACB) etc. by reading Single Line Diagrams.
● Have worked on Relays and maintained daily records of the power consumed and other
important factors like line currents and power factor.
● Worked on VFD for speed control of induction motors and for power saving. I was also
involved in commissioning of AVR panels by BHEL. Having knowledge of complete power
plant structure, worked for troubleshooting in all areas of power plant like Generator Hall,
Generating Transformer, Switchyard, Control Room, DCS, C&I, various power plant
auxiliaries, Feeder Floor, Cranes, FD & ID fans, LRSB & Soot Blowers, crushing Mills,
ESP etc.

Projects Undertaken :
 Installation of steam automation on all thermosetting press for improving product quality,
productivity, process safety and reducing operator fatigue.
 Developed and installed the automation of emergency siren system.
 Commissioning of YSD project for Suzuki Motors involving designing of Mould
Temperature controller system in-house.
 Developed Air extractor pasting machine and validated the process in-house for
eliminating the earlier followed manual process.
 Developed POKAYOKE at dash inner checking fixture and achieved higher level of
customer satisfaction.
 Installation of Fire fighting pump house in STPL-2.
