I would like to express my words of appreciation and sincerity for giving me

the knowledge I need that serves as an asset of my credibility being a Civil
Engineer soon.

First of all, thanks to my parents for giving me the encouragement,

enthusiasm and invaluable assistance. Without all this, I might not be able
to complete this subject properly.

Next, special thanks to Engr. Edgar S. Revelo, for giving us the opportunity
to learn and discover different principles in Geotechnical aspects to be used
as a foundation for a better understanding in application of the laws in Civil
Engineering related projects.

Also, thanks to God who made me who I am today. For the chance to wake
up everyday to attend school and fulfilling the needs of every individual
behind my little success. Thank you God!

Lastly, my deep sense of gratitude to all BSCE-V Block A who became my

inspiration. To the tasks completed together, to the places we went together
and to the happy and sorrow moments of our lives, you were there. To all
engineering instructors who contributed in my knowledge thou there were a

This subject also helps me to understand that Civil Engineers must also
consider ground or earth relation aspects, and not only on its structural
analysis.
