Construction Method for Ground Beam

1. After dismantle formwork.

2. A) Back filling to soffit.

B) Ground beam or stump.
C) Concrete top less 50mm.
3. Place lean concrete wider 50mm or 75mm to each side of ground beam.

4. Install one side formwork.

5. Install ground beam steel bar according to ground beam details NOS example (1B94N).
6. A) Inspection for ground beam steel bar according to drawing NOS details.
B) Surveyor to measure FFL at 2.95m after inspection approval granted concrete casting
Construction Method for Ground Slab

1. Imported back filling earth from PDC.

2. Filling compaction.
3. Spray anti termite after compaction. Second Layer BRC
First Layer BRC

4. Lay BRC and bar chair according to details after anti termite.
5. Inspection
6. Prior to final power float flatness check is measured with length aluminium straight edge.
7. Install SHS as level peg or guide rain for power float specialist to monitor flatness.
8. Rechecking entire bar chair provided and spacer block.
9. Pour concrete after approval obtained and control level with laser level.
10. Prior initial setting power float specialist to recheck pour concreted level and start with their
i. Vibrator strike.
ii. After vibrator strike, check tolerance using hand held highway straight edge beam
guided by guide rail. Check correction required.
iii. After correction, the casted slab is smoothen using Pan Disc power float machine.
