Step Up!

We ought to live our life the way we want to be. But life is complicated, maybe in a day,
weeks, or months things may turn left and then you may realize that you need to push yourself
to do this even if it is not your will.

Believe in myself. That’s one of the principles that I am filling inside of me. It’s one of the
most important things that I need to cater my life. Because in life we need to face a lot of
decision making whether our own choice or others will. However, we can’t avoid that
sometimes we failed to choose wise and may began to think if, “is it worth it to continue this
path?” But this made me felt that a wrong decision is better than undecided. Because think of
it, how can we know if it is morally right if we do not try. In fact if we fail, we could still learn
from it and teaches us to become a better one. Consequently, trying to figure out new things is
the way I live my life. Trying new things will help me create a better me and holding the fact that
I need to believe in myself no matter what.

Seeing things around is a way of living. There are a lot of influential entities and people
that will mold us as a person. Well, one of the best receptions that enlighten my mind is the
church. In this place, I learn moral values that reflect the way i live my life. Our family usually
goes to church every Sunday. However we cannot assure that we cannot do bad things perhaps
conscience will uphold. It’s just that, church is the only peaceful place to listen into the word of
God and to apply those learning’s in real life. Another place that I also admire next to church is
the school. Probably it is mandatory to go to school to learn and will lead us to success. In this
place, I learn how to socialize, to make friends, to ask a favor, and so on. In fact, this is the first
place where I encounter different types of people that teaches me how to stand up. However,
the most influential people that made me believe in myself are my family. They are the one who
taught a lot of things and show how they love and respect each other, although sometimes they
may fight because of misunderstandings but still at the end of the day the pride will fade.
 There are certain events in my life that made me realize that it’s hard to decide what is
right specially if that decision making will affect my journey towards my future. In church, it
helps me relax my mind from all the heavy thoughts inside my head. In fact, I used to meditate
myself from all the hardships that I am facing now. In school, it is the place where I have been
overloaded with task but rendering a lot of closest friends. Generally, this place teaches me how
to deal challenges to step up. It is how to deal my paper works, my actions, and a fight with my
friends. But my family is the one who fill strengths in me whenever I feel empty. They are the
one who shows that I must believe in myself no matter what are my decisions in life, because
they believe in me and so I am.

To sum it up, those things that I mentioned earlier are the one that tells me that I need
to be myself. Because once I am comfortable with my own identity, my own strengths, my own
weaknesses, then I can create a better me. For instance, carving my own path is not easy, reality
slaps how hard to figure out what is meant for you. In the journey of getting lost, one must need
something or someone that will help you uphold of stepping up towards your journey in life. In
fact, it is okay to endure the pain of getting lost, because you haven’t found your sweet spot yet.
According to the philosophy of Confucius it does not matter how slowly you go as long as you
do not stop. This quote will not be fulfilling if you do not “believe in yourself” because
accordingly, always believe in yourself and keep going. You don’t have to have the most talent in
the world. You don’t have to be the smartest person in the world. If you persist and you persist
