HRM2202: HUMAN RESOURCES ISSUES AND STRATEGIES

GROUP ASSIGNMENT (20%)

You are required to do an assignment as follows:

Work with a team of your groupmate (3-5 members in a group) to answer the questions based on
the case study below.

The following format is to be used for your report:

CHAPTER 1 – Introduction
 You may introduce on Job analysis

CHAPTER 2 – Case study questions


 For this chapter, you need to answer all 4 questions stated in the case study.

CHAPTER 3 – Conclusion
 The reflective by group member about the important of job analysis in organization.

Bibliography
 This is a list of articles, books, journals, online sources and any other materials that you
have consulted in doing this report. Please follow Harvard referencing style.

 There are certain online sites that should not be listed as sources of reference. These are:
 Wikipedia [NOT ACCEPTED as a credible source of academic referencing]

 “lazy” sites such as answer yahoo, marketing teacher, netMBA, free essay, etc.

Appendix
 You may append any additional materials relevant to your report, if any. You are not
required to include copies of articles you have consulted in this appendix.

Instruction:

1. The written report should be submitted in Hard Copy by Week 11 (12th April 2019).

2. Write in font size 11 or 12 for the main body. Please use legible fonts such as Verdana,
Century Gothic, Times New Roman [size 12 only], Arial, Trebuchet MS, Tahoma, Gill
Sans MT [size 12 only]. For diagrams, you could use any legible font of any size and
single spacing. Headings may be typed in a larger size font for clarity or in different
colours for aesthetics.

3. Use 1.5 or double spacing. Do not use single spacing.

4. The main body of your text [including bibliography page] must be numbered.

5. There must be a table of content. Your table of content must list the content of your paper
including their respective page numbers.

6. The assignment should be 2,500 words (+/- 20%). If you have additional information or
discussion that you think is interesting to include in your report, put it in the Appendix.

7. Please properly reference your information, data, facts, tables, figures or diagrams which
you have gotten from other sources. Use Harvard referencing style.

8. Plagiarism [which includes copy/paste from Internet sources or other published sources, or
copying the work of other students, past or present] is strictly prohibited and plagiarized
work, either in part or in full, may be rejected and the work will be awarded a Fail mark.

9. Please attach the Evaluation Form to your report [see attachment].
