Description It is available to identify RAID500 and RAID600 on the AIX MPIO ODM VER. 5.4.0.2 in
the configuration that the AIX MPIO host connects both RAID500 and RAID600.
For example: the following are able to be displayed:
Hitachi MPIO:
Hitachi MPIO Disk USP V (Fibre) (USP V/VM connection)
Hitachi MPIO Disk USP (Fibre) (USP/NSC connection)
HP MPIO:

occurs with UR SVOL after SI Quick-Restore
With the configuration where a UR primary volume (PVOL) used as a
Shadow Image (hereinafter referred to as SI) primary volume (PVOL),
data may fail to copy to the UR SVOL.

The problem occurs with all the following conditions met.
A. RAID600 All current versions
B. Common to OPEN/MF
C. With the configuration where UR PVOL and SI PVOL use the same
volume, suspend the UR pair, and split the SI pair
D. Issue an update I/O to SI SVOL
E. After a Quick Restore for the SI pair and SI pair becomes the PAIR
status, split or release the SI pair
G. Resynchronize the UR pair (including Swap Resync)

1. When using TC Sync/Async for z/OS or Open, with a reset received
from MCU due to such as overload on RCU, the MP on RCU Target may
block.
2. As a result of #1, if all the MPs of the TC paths were blocked, the TC
pair suspended.

The problem occurs with all the following conditions met.
1. TC Sync/Async for z/OS or Open
2. RCU (TC S-VOL)
3. A reset is received from MCU because the processing is delayed on
RCU due to overload etc
4. The factor of the processing delay in #3 is that LDEV is unsecured
(DKC internal condition)

When performing the LUNM operation from Storage Navigator, the error
message, 0110 5085, appeared indicating insufficient licensed capacity.
However, capacity of the internal device was within the licensed capacity.

The problem occurs with all the following conditions met.
1. An external drive is connected
2. The licensed capacity is smaller than the capacity of the drives including
the external one
3. Any of the following windows of Storage Navigator displays PP charged
by actual capacity (This does not occur with Hicommand):
LUN Expansion, VLL, Volume Security, Volume Retention Manager, Data
Retention, LUN Manager, Port, Authentication, Cache Residency,
Performance Management, Monitoring Options

Once Ping Time Out occurred, a report that an error occurred to the MP
was output without retry.
