ABSTRAK

Seorang pemimpin memiliki karakteristik tertentu. Untuk mengerti ciri-ciri

kepemimpinan seseorang, harus dipahami bahwa kepemimpinan mempunyai tiga
komponen, yaitu pemimpin, pengikut, dan situasi. Oleh sebab itu, seseorang yang
dikatakan sebagai pemimpin yang baik dalam satu situasi dan dengan pengikut
tertentu, belum tentu sebaik itu dalam situasi dan pengikut yang lain (Ristiyanti,
2015). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan Gaya
Kepemimpinan Demokratis Dengan Kinerja Perawat Di RSUD Dokter Mohamad
Saleh Kota Probolinggo.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian analitik korelasional
dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah Perawat di
RSUD dr. Mohamad Saleh Kota Probolinggo yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi
pada bulan Februari-Maret tahun 2019 dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi sebanyak
116 responden yang cara pengambilannya dilakukan dengan teknik Proportionate
Stratified Random Sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan
lembar kuesioner.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari 116 responden lebih dari 50 % Gaya
Kepemiminan Demokratis Yaitu Baik sejumlah 71 Perawat dengan prosentase
61.2 %, sedangkan Kinerja Perawat lebih dari 50 % yaitu Amat Baik 63 Perawat
dengan Prosentase (54.3%). Berdasarkan hasil analisis uji Spearman Rank secara
komputerisasi didapatkan = 0,000 dan = 0,05 artinya <, sehingga H0
ditolak dan Ha diterima, serta ada Hubungan Gaya Kepemimpinan Demokratis
Dengan Kinerja perawatDi RSUD Dokter Mohamad Saleh Kota Probolinggo.
Nilai korelasi r=0,491 artinya korelasi positif dengan kekuatan korelasi pada
penelitian ini yaitu Sedang.
Kinerja perawat yang baik berhubuingan erat dengan keberhasilan
penerapan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis, kepala bidang keperawatan dan kepala
ruangan hendaknya secara bertahap memberikan bimbingan kepada semua
perawat agar bisa mempunyai kinerja yang baik.

ABSTRACT

A leader has certain characteristics. To understand the characteristics of

one's leadership, it must be understood that leadership has three components,
namely leaders, followers, and situations. Therefore, someone who is said to be a
good leader in one situation and with certain followers, is not necessarily as good
as that in other situations and followers (Ristiyanti, 2015). This research is to find
out the relationship between democratic leadership style with nurses' performance
in RSUD Dokter Mohamad Saleh Kota Probolinggo.
The type of research used is analytic correlational research with cross
sectional approach. Samples in this study are Nurses in RSUD dr. The City of
Probolinggo Mohamad Saleh who fulfilled the inclusion criteria in February-
March 2019 and fulfilled the inclusion criteria as many as 116 respondents whose
methods were taken were using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling
technique. Data collection was carried out by using the questionnaire
questionnaire.
The results of the study showed that 116 respondents were more than 50%
of the Democratic Democratic Leadership Style, which was both 71 Nurses with a
percentage of 61.2%, while the Performance of Nurses was more than 50%,
namely Good Care 63 Nurses with Percentage (54.3%). Based on the Spearman
Rank test results of computerization obtained = 0,000 and a = 0.05, it means r <a,
so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, and there is a Relationship between
Democratic Leadership Style and Nurse Performance in Dokter Mohamad Saleh
Hospital, Probolinggo. Correlation value r = 0.491
A good care relationship between success and the success of a democratic
leader, leading to the maintenance of the head of the will is to gradually provide
guidance on the overall care to have a good performance.
