RESUMEN
ABSTRACT
A culture medium is a nutrient solution that allows the development of microorganisms. Each
medium is designed for the growth of certain microorganisms, in this practice the medium
EMB Agar is used for the selective isolation of Gram-negative bacilli and Lysine agar used
in the isolation and enumeration of yeast Wild in the brewing industry. The culture medium
is prepared by mixing the quantity of grams of the medium with the quantity of distilled
water, this mixture is brought to its boiling point, sterilized in the autoclave and finally it is
served in Petri dishes, they are put in an artificial incubator with Traditions of Microaerófilia
when mixing bicarbonate with alcohol. After 7 days We proceed to make the gram stain
where they are used (crystal violet, Lugol, Alcohol-Acetone and Safranin) to identify the
main types of bacteria, were found Gram positive bacilli and use the technique of application
of Lugol for To observe fungi, where bacteria possibly coconuts were observed.
