Please be informed that the Canvas Single Sign-On (SSO) will be operational on
October 2, 2019, 12:01 AM. The following changes will take place:
1. You will login to Canvas through your Microsoft Office 365 account. Refer to
the previous Homeroom announcements on how to setup your 365 account for
the first time and how to go to Canvas from the Office 365 landing page.
2. If you enter feu.instructure.com, onefeu.instructure.com, or access Canvas
through the mobile app, you will be redirected to Microsoft to login.

ADDITIONAL REMINDERS:
1. With an official FEU Office 365 account, you can install a licensed
Office 365 to your devices. Just click “Install Office” on the landing page of
office.com upon logging in.
2. Your Office 365 will remain active as long as you are enrolled in FEUHS.
3. You no longer need to remember your Canvas password. Your Office 365
password will serve as the password for your Canvas as well because of the
SSO. The EdTech Office will no longer accommodate password requests. It is
your responsibility to remember your Office 365 password.

Classroom Attendance
• A student is considered late if he comes to class beyond 7:00am. The school DOES NOT tolerate grace period
internal arrangements.
• A student who exceeds more than 5 lates in a given month will acquire community service hours. (6 lates X 2 =
12 hours)
• As per DepEd policy, a student who acquires absences of more than 20% from the total number of school days
per term will be automatically dropped from the enrolled subjects.
• If the student needs to go home early, he must present a valid letter to the adviser, class secretary, and to the
Office of the Administrative Services to secure an early dismissal pass.
• NO valid letter/dismissal pass = cutting classes (Major Offense).

Truancy -
Ø The deliberate act of staying away from school without good reason and
valid permission from parents and school authorities.
• Truancy is considered a major offense.
• Students are not allowed to stay in fast food chains, computer shops, billiard
halls, and malls during their class hours.
Attendance Sheet Submission
• Secretaries’ deadline of submission re: September 2019 Class Attendance Sheets
to Class Advisers – October 4, 2019
• Kindly make sure that all necessary signatures are provided in the attendance
sheet.
• Students are advised to accomplish their CS hours the soonest possible to avoid
inconvenience during clearance signing.
Uniform Reminders
• For students who already purchased uniforms at the school bookstore, kindly check if your stocks are already
available. Don’t forget to bring your official receipt/s everytime you enter the school premises and upon
claiming.
• As per update from the school bookstore, they already have new stocks of the FEU HS P.E. jogging pants.
Students are advised to purchase their jogging pants the soonest possible or until October 7, 2019.

Classroom Behavior
• Students, as a sign of respect, shall greet the faculty and staff entering their classroom.
• Students are not allowed to stay/seat on teacher’s desk and chair.
• Students are not allowed to turn off the room lights especially during break time.
• Students are not allowed to use loud music most especially during class hours to avoid
disturbing other ongoing classes.
• Students are not allowed to eat inside classrooms, laboratories, library and other
function rooms. Students may consume their meals at the school canteens.
• Students are expected to practice CLAYGO (Clean as You Go) at all times.
• Students are expected to use all school facilities properly.
• Students shall report broken or malfunctioning equipment inside their classroom to the
class adviser, and to FTS at NB310.
• Students are reminded to always keep an eye on their belongings/valuables (such as
cellphones, wallets, jewelries, etc.).
• Class Officers may bring a container/ecobag where students can put their valuables
during P.E. class. The container/ecobag must be surrendered to the PE teacher before
start of the subject period.
Other Policy Reminders
• Students are not allowed to bring prohibited materials inside the campus such as:
• Cigarettes and vapes
• Vape juice
• Sharps (ex. Cutter, knife, scissor, pins, etc.)
• Pepper spray and other dangerous chemicals
• Pornographic materials
• Flammable and subversive materials
• Spray paints
• Alcohol
• Prohibited substances

THEME FOR 2019
• Grade 12 students will be selling native and indigenous
delicacies. The group will also showcase the cultural
experience of the country they’ve been assigned to.
• Each group will consist of 3-4 sections. All of the sections will
collaborate on which dishes they are going to produce and
sell.
• Each group is instructed to design the booth (SB Walkway)
and produce 2-3 indigenous delicacies.
• The group can either produce delicacies on the spot or bring
in pre-cooked delicacies.
• A tent will be provided for each group.

• The MERKATO will be held on October 11, Friday 08:00-4:00.
• Class officers from each section will be organizing this activity
and need to list down all the materials they need for entry
permit. Collection will vary per group depending on their
plans.
• This will be integrated in their Entrepreneurship grade as
Written Work 4 and Written Work 5.
• Proceeds of this MERKATO activity will be donated to
Alternative Learning Centre for Agricultural and Livelihood
Development, Inc. (ALCADEV), an organization providing
education to indigenous youth of CARAGA region in
Mindanao.
ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES
•Students are NOT ALLOWED to bring cooking
tools like sharpen knives, Swiss knives and
cooking scissors.
•Students are only allowed to bring a conventional
type / induction stove. Open fire cooking method
is NOT ALLOWED.
