Successful life, a dream that everybody are daydreaming about, a wish that everybody are praying

to be granted. Yet, as we are racing to achieve this life goal, what is the actual meaning of a
‘successful life’? Some says it is when we met our soul mate, the love of our life. Some says it when
we get our dream job. Others declare it when we are living in a luxurious life. Is this translating what
is successful life? First and foremost, how to guarantee a successful life in the future? Academic
excellence could double the opportunity to confirm a successful life. One’s academic or education
achievement could turn his or her life upside down. However, this is not hundred percent promising.

Nowadays, the working world, people who is recognized in academic achievement is highly
needed. Thus, those who exceed successfully in academics have higher opportunity than those who
only managed to pass. A recognized certification of yours could determine where your level is
compared to others. One’s achievement in education is a mirror to the quality that you have. Marks
and grades reflect the hard work that you poured in and described how deep your theorical
understanding in the course the course you are taking. The quality that most companies are
searching for. Therefore, in this modern era, academic excellence is not only a necessary , it is a
necessity.

Next, a great well- know leader, Nelson Mandela once said ‘education is the most powerful
weapon that we can use to change the world’. This honored man described precisely how huge is the
role of education one’s life. Being educated help us to broaden the way we should think and recreate
a better vision of a quality life in all perspective. This mean excelling in academic does not only
unlimiting the jobs for you but it is also help you to create your own empire independently. In short,
academic excellence is not only an important weapon for us to strive in this vicious world, it also give
us a ticket to rebuild our life.

However, as I stated before academic excellence may be the most convincing route to successful
life, but as we know life does not always follow the plans we set. In life, everything is unpredictable.
One must not rely on their list of flying colours grades only as life could turn the table around, this
where one’s ability is really challenged. Back then Albert Einstein have a dark history in his school
age. Yes, he did not end up with A+’s in his hand but this does not stop him from stop loving science.
There are hundreds more people who does not have a really good head start but still manage to end
with glory. Even Google found that grades and marks are ‘worthless as criteria for hiring’. Thus, we
must reset our mindset that, we, human does not learn to live but live to learn same goes to we must
be educated in other to be a knowledgeable and not only for completing the need to be a qualify
employee.

Overall, in my opinion , academic excellence indeed one of the required to achieved successful life
, yet to guarantee this goal ones must not limit their steps to achieve successful life on the education
path only .Therefore ask ourselves again , ‘what is my kind of successful life?’, aim for it with great
determination and believe there is always a sure for those who give their best to make it sure.
