Significance

The result supported the hypothesis that there’s a factor that can cause challenges of every students in
learning Mathematics. This matter serves to greatly affect the importance of this study is to give
valuable information about the factors that can be cause of those challenges that the learners encounter
in studying Mathematics subject.

Mathematics is a subject that some of students having difficulties when it comes in studying it. Studying
this topic can barely know the factors that affect students in learning Mathematics.

This study finds significance to the following stakeholders:

Supervisors. The findings would provide basis to conduct school programs that can avoid students
difficulties in Mathematics to encourage learners pay attention in their math subject.

Parents. The findings would provide basis on how they encourage and how they avoid difficulties of their
children in learning mathematics.

Students. The findings would help the students become aware of the factors that affect their
performance in mathematics. Knowing such factors can help them identify their strengths and
weaknesses that constantly interfere their performance in mathematics. This will, in turn, inspire the
students to overcome their weaknesses and hence, results to a good performance of students toward
Mathematics.

Teacher. The findings provide Mathematics teacher with a better understanding of, and a deeper into the
needs and problem of their students. Provide more accurate assessment of their children’s ability and
information they need in order to properly address their children’s academic problems.

Researchers. The findings would serve as a stepping-stone for future researches about difficulties in
learning mathematics. It will also provide data about the factor that students encounter in their learning
in math subject.

This study is aim to determine the effect of mobile apps in the study habits of Grade 8 students of Lipay
National Highschool during the year 2019 – 2020. The study will make use of descriptive research design
with survey questionnaire and checklist as primary tools in gathering data and information from the
students from the Grade 8 students of Lipay National Highschool S.Y. 2019 – 2020. Also the study aim to
know the opinions of the students relating the use of mobile games in terms of knowledge and the
benefits of it.
The questionnaire is a researcher made instrument formulated as the need and demanded in the
study. The instrument has 2 test, test 1 will be the profile variables
