Application Process for DepEd

APPLICATION PROCEDURE
1. Register and apply for a position at:

2. Submit the following documentary requirements in a clean, unmarked long brown envelope to the
Personnel Division at the Department of Education Central Office (Ground floor, Teodora Alonzo
Building) on or before the deadline indicated on the vacancy announcement/s:
a. Letter of Intent (addressed to Mr. Francis Dela Cruz, Chief of the Personnel Division). Kindly
include the position with the corresponding division/office, bureau, and strand you are applying
for.
b. Duly accomplished Personal Data Sheet (CSC Form 212 Revised 2017)

c. Curriculum Vitae
d. Photocopy of one (1) government-issued ID
e. Photocopy of Certificate of Eligibility
f. Photocopy of the latest Transcript of Records
g. Photocopy of the 3 Performance ratings for the last 3 rating periods from January 2015 onwards
(one (1) performance rating is equivalent to six (6) months)*
h. Certificates of relevant trainings and seminars attended
i. Certificates of outstanding accomplishments
j. E-copy of all submitted documents (enclosed in a CD)
* Note: For external applicants, numerical performance evaluation from the previous employer. If
unavailable, kindly download the template for the Performance Ratings at
http://tinyurl.com/DepEd-PRtemplates and have it filled out by your immediate supervisor
(previous or current).
3. Applicants are expected to:
a. Bring all original documents for verification purposes;
b. Submit one set of documents for every position he/she is applying for; and
c. Submit pending requirements before the deadline of applications.
4. Upon submission of the documents, keep the application receipt from the Recruitment Kiosk.
5. All applicants will be notified regarding the status of his/her application/s through email and text
message.

How to apply? [For Teacher-applicants]
Before you register
a. You have a valid, working and current email address where you will receive your login details. You
may use your personal or work email as long as you can still log-in to it.
b. If you haven’t used your email address for quite some time, please check if you still can access it. If
you can no longer access your email, we suggest that you create a new one.
c. Be ready with any of the following IDs : Tax Identification Number (recommended); GSIS Unified
Multi-Purpose ID (UMID); Voter’s ID; New Postal ID; SSS ID; PhilHealth ID; Passport.
Step 1: Register online at http://application.deped.gov.ph using your personal email address
Reminder: This registration is to secure an access to the DepEd online application system, NOT to
create a new email address for you.
Step 2: Regularly check your email for the verification notice within the next 48-hours. Your username
and password is included in the email. Click ‘here’ to confirm that your email is working.
Step 3: Sign-in or Login to http://application.deped.gov.ph using your username & password.
Step 4: In Office level, teacher-applicant select [Division]
Step 5: In CO Strands/Region, teacher-applicant select [Region]
Step 6: In CO Bureau/Service/Office–Division/ Division Office, teacher-applicant select [Division]
Step 7: In position, teacher-applicants select [Teacher I]
Step 8: Click Save.
Step 8.a: If you want to apply for another position click ‘Add’, then repeat Step 4 to Step 8.
Step 8.b: If you want to remove a position previously selected, click ‘Remove’.
Step 9: Click Next.
Step 10: Enter your data in the PDS. Click ‘Save’ button at the bottom of the screen before you transfer
/ move to another page / tab.
Step 11: Review data in all pages / tabs to make sure all encoded data are complete.
Step 12: Go to Reference page/tab then click ‘Submit’.
REMINDER: After you click the ‘SUBMIT’ button, you can view your PDS but no longer edit or add
any data to it. You can no longer add, edit or delete the position applying for.
Step 13: Regularly check your email for your UAN within the next 48-hours.
Step 14: Include your UAN in your application / provide your UAN where necessary
