3% Means 3% Pledge

At the Boston Freedom Rally, commit to an equitable cannabis industry by joining the ‘3% Means
3% Pledge.’ Farm Bug Co-op is organizing local cannabis entrepreneurs to pledge not to sign any
host community agreement that gives payments to local governments above what is written into state
law: up to a 3% Community Impact Fee for all marijuana establishments and up to a 3% sales tax for
marijuana retail establishments. We feel that what is written into Massachusetts state law is more than
fair. We also believe that there are plenty of ways to help local communities other than agreeing to
payments to the local government.

is widely distributed across the state.
