multiplication and numerical natation

2. BASIC COMPETENCY (IES): Learners should be able to multiply any two digit number up to 50 by any
number between 1 and 10 through repeated addition
3. LESSON OBJECTIVE(S). By the end of this lesson the learners should be able to multiply 1 digit x 1-2 digit
numbers correctly using repeated addition

6. THE LESSON PHASES

INTRODUCTION: (arouse awareness and interest, state what the lesson is about AND
determine level of current knowledge of content to be taught).
PRESENTATION/DEVELOPMENT: (Exploration of content) (Include: Time and language skills;
Content + vocabulary; Grouping; Teacher- and Learners’ activities; Check homework as
needed).
REINFORCEMENT: [Inquiry and experimentation, learning support (enrich/remediate), writing
activity, game, assess if new learning has taken place based on pre-presentation knowledge
and give meaningful homework as needed).
CONCLUSION: Recap; utilization of knowledge; learners reflect on what they have learned and
what they enjoyed about the lesson; feed forward and so forth.
Teacher REFLECTION on the lesson with actions to improve.

Student teacher reflection on action/challenges and suggested ways for improvement:
The lesson was good though some of the learners had troubles in multiplying the numbers. More efforts
have to be made.
