1. Press the Home button, and then press the Apps button. Navigate to Settings.
2. Under “Wireless and Networks”, make sure "Wi-Fi" is turned on, then press Wi-Fi.
3. You may have to wait a moment as your Android device detects wireless networks in range, and
displays them in a list. To rescan for available networks at any time, select Scan.
Note: You can also choose "Add a Wi-Fi network" to manually configure your network. This is usually
done if the wireless network or SSID is hidden.
4. Press the Wi-Fi network name that you want to connect to. If the network is not secured, the
connection should complete successfully and you can skip the remainder of these instructions. If a
padlock symbol is displayed to the right of the the network name, it is secured and requires a password
(also known as a Passphrase or Key) to complete the connection.
5. If prompted, enter the correct Wi-Fi network password, and press Connect. This will complete your
connection to the wireless network.
6. If the Android device reports that it has successfully connected to the wireless network, but you still
cannot access the Internet, you will have to discuss this problem with the network administrator.
Connecting a Windows 10 machine to a Wi-Fi network
To connect to a wireless network in Windows 10:
1. Click the Network icon on the lower right corner of your screen.
3. If the network is one you want to connect to automatically, select Connect automatically and
click Connect.
4. If the wireless network is secured, type the password in the Enter the network security key field and
click Next.
Note: If you need to make the password visible in order to check for accuracy, click the eye icon on the
right side of the Enter the network security key field.
5. Connected is displayed under the wireless network.
Connecting an Apple Mac OSX to a Wi-Fi network
1. At the top right side of your screen and click the Wireless icon.
3. You'll see a list of networks you can connect to. Select your router's Wireless name (it'll start
with PlusnetWireless).
4. You'll be asked for the password. This is the Wireless key (or WPA-PSK key) shown on the bottom of your router.
Enter the key and click OK.
(If you're on MAC OS X 10.4 or below you'll also need to choose a Wireless Security type - select WPA Personal)
5. You're now connected to your wireless network. Open your web browser to start browsing!
If you want to check your connection, the wireless icon at the top right side of your screen shows
what's going on. The bars on the icon indicate the signal strength. Clicking the wireless icon will show
the name of the network you're currently connected to.
If the Airport icon located on the top right corner of the Mac OS X desktop screen is not visible, you will need to turn
on AirPort:
1. Select the Apple Button located at the very upper left corner of your screen and choose System
Preferences.
4. From the left-hand menu, select AirPort. The right-hand menu will change to AirPort options.
5. If AirPort Status is not "On," click the "Turn AirPort On" button.
6. Check the box labeled "Show AirPort status in menu bar".

3. Tap Wi-Fi.
