The Philippines Amidst Economic, Political, and Cultural Globalization

First of all I recall the recent we tackled about the global economy is
concerned about the production, finance, technologies and etc. to imitate a country is
also based on how advanced their technologies are because if they are not advanced
they are just making new technologies for their country also determining how well a
country is developing due to companies how they can produce more people to work
and so the economy of our country is rising because of the overseas Filipino workers
because of the skills we provide abroad we are becoming more in demand in other
countries.

According in The World Bank, Philippines Economic was slowed in the first
half of the 2019 because of the delayed budget implementation and it also the over
populated in the metro, manila and some of the Filipino workers is umeployed so that
economic in the Philippines is going down and it also going down ng economic
growth because of the calamity that we face just like the El Niño the farmers of the
Philippines the Filipino farmers became poor and the Filipinos were also struggling
for their daily living. One of the rising economies of the country is because of the
tourists because as more and more foreigners come to us, our economy is rising and
because of the tourists we are increasing our jobs which are already being promoted
Promoted jobs in the Philippines are the tour guides or the ones who make souvenirs
at souveneir shops in tourist spots

Political Globalization

Based on a case study from the Philippines, this paper argues that globalization forms
a material set of processes, but also a political discourse employed to legitimize
certain power relations. I argue, firstly, that scales, and particularly the global scale,
can be viewed as social constructions reflecting political interests rather than neutral
categories of geographical space. I suggest that a particular discourse of globalization
is deployed to legitimize an economic and political agenda in which development is
based on internationa l investment flows and production for export. Using the
Philippines as an example, I trace the translation of globalization discourse into
development policies based on place marketing, investment incentives and
infrastructure provision. ( P. Kelly 2017 )

Cultural Globalization is embedded in the various cultures of other countries also
in this way how they teach the other countries or whether they are distributing their
culture. In our own culture, the effects of globalization are immense and diverse. Now,
let's look at some of these effects. The use of the English language is one of the most
evident effects of globalization on our culture. Just as Americans have shared their
languages with the Filipino people and we have adapted their language and to this day we
use them and in our country, fast-food chain like Mcdonald is everywhere in our country
or every countries lot of people find it funny because every country has it and the other
people think is scary because American culture has everywhere.

Cultural Globalization is not just food it also involves the technologies, movies,
arts, and business ideas etc. In the Philippines, we adapt to so many cultures around the
world because some of our tourists give their culture just like the food we learn so many
cuisines in the tourist and some of their language and in the tourist some of the
businessmen traveling from the one country to another in that some of their beliefs or
their business ideas their adapt the culture of the other country so in that they influence
the other businessmen or people to the new culture that they brought in that country. And
in social media about the celebrity especially in the American culture, some of their
artists are so famous not just in our country it around the world and in that it affects our
daily life because of their culture.
