Person A Interviewee: (Interview via mobile chat)

1. Not really. It is just almost exactly enough for myself. Due to that, I still would want to
finish my studies and pursue a career in Computer Studies.
2. Nope, because I control the days I spend working.
3. It makes me pursue college because I technically feel "underpaid" right now.
4. Financial independence, so I would not bother anyone (my parents) with my finances.
5. Before I started to work, I had a lot of free time, and I spend them for leisure. Also, I used
to spend money carelessly. Now, my leisure time has significantly dropped as I am using
those as time for work, and I am handling money smartly these days.
6. Yes, because as I mentioned earlier, I control my working days. However, that does not
encourage me to not finish my degree.
7. Before starting to work, I just wanted a linear path, to finish school and eventually work in
a computer industry. However, after starting to work, my choices expanded. Now, I'm
planning to still work in the computer industry, and at the same time, work as a freelance
photographer in my spare time.
8. On average, I work around 5 hours per day. The number of days per week varies,
depending on the number of projects I have. For a rough estimate, on average, I have
2-3 projects per week. Is it worth the time? Hmmm, since I make sure it doesn't interfere
with my studies, it is. However, I feel underpaid, so it kinda feels like it still isn't worth the
time.
9. Pros: Helps me earn money. I could practice proper time management and how to
manage my finances the right way. Con/s: UNDERPAID (all caps para intense)

Person B Interviewee: (interview via mobile chat)

1. Working part time does suffice for my daily needs and such but it is not the career i want
to pursue. This is just a stepping stone for higher education.
2. There are times that it takes a toll on academics and vice versa.
3. Education right now for me is vital in achieving my goals so college and post graduate
studies are key.
4. I have always wanted to be independent or like have money of my own thats what made
me start with TTE.
5. Working gave me more freedom in terms of my finances, I didn't need to ask money
from my parents although they paid for my education. TTE made me more flexible and
has given me opportunities that helped me grow.
6. I still believe that having a degree is still important whether you are your own boss or not,
you would still need it as a fallback just in case things doesn't work out.
7. I have been working in different lines of work and it has given me a chance to really find
what I want in life. The career that I am in now is something I enjoy but I do not see
myself doing it for a long time.
8. Right now I am doing at least 20hrs a week which is just right for me to balace work and
study. Since I work at night and my classes are in the late afternoon, it goes well. I have
time to do both satisfactorily.
9. The good thing about it is you get to be independent and self reliant, aside from that you
get a chance to prove yourself. What I see is if they start too early with TTE like right
after HS they tend to get burned out easily and that TTE doesn't give much opportunity
to rise within the ranks.
10. Currently, I am in my post graduate studies, working and studying at same time which I
have been doing since HS, for me it was and is a good training and learning experience.
