This document describes the performance criteria flow rate accuracy for
This document in combination with “Model documents for plant sales” forms a
Performance guarantee towards the customer.
Performance Definitions
The parameters to be verified are flow rate, measured as litre per hour (l/h) at
return inlet and pressure measured in bar at Tetra Alcip 100 pressure outlet pipe.
General definitions:
Required utilities should have parameters according to Tetra Pak’s design criteria.
The Tetra Alcip 100 should at the time for the Performance test be running in
normal CIP processing mode.
The flow and pressure meters should be fine tuned and configured after Tetra
Pak’s instructions.
Test Procedures
The performance test shall be done at the end of commissioning on a fine tuned,
continuously running Tetra Alcip 100.

Data sampling
When the unit is in production and the defined flow rate is achieved and stable, the
values of flow and pressure are read simultaneously on the HMI on the control
panel and documented.
Data analysis
The average flow rate and average pressure is calculated and the result is then
checked against the Process Performance Criteria, see above.
