Statistical Treatment of Data

After collecting the data, the researchers were up to arrange and analyze this data to further come
across into conclusions, it is also important for the researchers to arise into an Acceptable Statistical
Treatments that depends on how the data was gathered.

The descriptive statistic technique for the gathered data was regarded to the type of participants
included, specifically their gender, age and socio-economic factor, this treatment was applicable to the
first part of the survey, which the data and frequencies were tabulated and specified. The descriptive
treatment was also relevant to the ranking part in which there were five elements that were coexisted in
this research study, the elements were ranked according to its effect on how the decisions and choices of
the participants were affected, the elements are as follows; entertainment, quality of music, relatable to
the listeners, creativeness and satisfaction. The researchers also utilized the difference of the effect of
these factors to the chosen participants.

The researchers used the descriptive treatment to also compare the attributes of each data
gathered, on whether which OPM and International Music affect the satisfaction of the listeners and
streamers of today, it allows the researchers to identify the strength and weaknesses of both factors,
with that, the researchers used T-test to determine which variable affects the study, the T-test that will
be conducted was Dependent T-test where there are only one group of participants which contain the
same measures, the researchers choose students as the participants of this research study.

After identifying the participants and which test to be used the researchers will be conducting 8 T-
test, 1 T-test for each variable, also, the researchers decided to determine extraneous variables, they
identified 8 extraneous variables that are co-existing and may affect this research study, and these
variables are known to be the 8P's of Marketing Mix, these are the Product, Place, Promotion, Price,
People, Physical evidence, Process, and Productivity and Quality, this was to know which variable varies
to the data gathered.

Over and above that, to measure the relationship of each variables the researchers decided to used
Karl Pearson's Product Moment Coefficient of Correlation this wa represented by a scattered diagram
which shows the relationship of variables, it might be a positive relationship, negative or no relationship
at all.
