Questions:

2. What characteristics should a nurse educator possess?
Response:
1. “For me, there are three effective ways of teaching patients. First, employ questioning
tactics, this may help clients develop critical thinking, decision making and problem-
solving skills a key component to active learning. Secondly, adapt role playing-a
dramatization of an unscripted event or scenario and can be used to teach
communication and relate with the patients. Lastly, practice concept mapping. In terms
of healthcare, concept mapping is a great strategy for teaching and educating patients
because it allows clients to see interrelationships of every concepts related to subject
matter that is sequential so that the topics will be appropriately discuss and easily
understood.”
