Responsibilities:
● Monitor relevant issues/political dialogue to develop messages & track big picture
narrative shifts
● Develop, solicit and edit high-impact content for traditional media digital media, blogs,
op-eds, social media, email, mobile, print and in-person
● Ensure all content is on-campaign, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice;
and is optimised for search and user experience across all channels
● Supervise and direct staff and will report directly to the senior management
● Develop and implement roadmaps for securing earned media including managing a
reporter database, pitching stories and drafting press releases
● Develop and manage media relationships with local, state and national media
Skills Required:
● Proficient in extracting & handling unambiguous data from multiple sources.
● Capable of managing & grooming big teams under time constraints.
● Must be a confident communicator and presenter
● Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing
skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
● Excellent organizational and planning skills
● Equipped with project management and time management skills
● Aware of current trends in traditional media/digital media/social media, Content & media
savvy
● Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management
● Emotionally mature.
Desired Profile:
● Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership position like Head of PR / Marketing where
he / she has managed comprehensive communications programs to advance a
business’s objectives
● Postgraduate in Mass Communication from universities like SIBM/ MICA/ TISS, or IIM /
ISB profile
● Well-demonstrated credentials in leading diverse teams of media relations and research
● Bonus points for strong grasp on political landscape in India
