● Learned a lot B loved relating it to clinical.
● Dr. B is amazing! Inspirational and real!
● Very inspiring.
● Extremely adaptable and accommodating.
● Best professor I have ever had. She makes me want to work my hardest to be the best
teacher I can possibly be! She made the class fun and I felt like I have learned a lot! I
would like any class she teaches! Love her! Give her a raise!
● Dr. Bertrand is a phenomenal professor. Not only does she care about what she is
teaching us but she cares about us as her students. She adapts lessons to how we’re
 doing in class and creates lessons we can engaged in. She always provides us with
information and answers everyone’s question. I have to say she’s one of my all-time
favorite teachers.
● She is a very out-going teacher who brings life to the classroom even on our hardest days
with other things going on with school. She is very caring and adaptive to our needs.
Overall I have enjoyed this course.
● This course has by far been my favorite class I have taken at ISU. The instructor Dr. B is
amazing and makes class something that I actually love going to! She really takes the
time to get to know each and every one of her students in an academic and personal way.
In addition she cares a lot about her past experience as a classroom teacher.
● Lastly she took the time to change the entire syllabus and calendar to benefit our
schedules as junior elective education majors. Highly recommend her!!
● Dr. B tailored this course to really help us! I love her as an instructor. This woman
deserves a raise and a promotion.
● Dr. B is amazing! She taught us life lessons that I will remember forever as a future
educator! She helped us with great feedback and deserves to be a teacher for this course!
She rocks and works with me personally.
● I cannot say enough nice things about Dr. Bertrand. She is dedicated and extremely
knowledgeable. She is always looking out for her students’ best interest. I have learned
so much from her. I wish I could take every class with her. I have an immense amount of
respect for her. She is a huge asset to the college of education here.
● This professor did an amazing job in her first semester. She provided many helpful
experiences used to deepen content understanding. She is the best professor I have had in
my 3 years at ISU. She uses the strategies we learn to be a good teacher. She could not
be more amazing. She cares and is considerate of her students.
● You are really fun and make class enjoyable. Sometimes it seems like there are
inconsistencies with expectations.
● Dr. B has been absolutely amazing. By far the best professor I have had. Cares about her
students and tries hard at her job. Truly wants us to succeed.
● The instructor made changes to the course and requirements as we went along to help us
to benefit us and I loved how she took our needs and education into consideration.
● Phenomenal teacher. Always willing to clarify information for students. Would gladly
meet outside of class or email responses. Very honest and truthful, super knowledgeable
because of her recent experience in the field, she cares about her students.

● I love Dr. B! She’s a great teacher and makes the class interactive and fun.

● I love Dr. B! She is an awesome teacher who is always reflective and always allows for
change if students feel that there is a better way! She is very personable and allows
appropriate time for projects! Love her!! Recommend her to anyone!
● The teacher could have explained assignments better than in the beginning of the year.
She did this very well in the end of the semester, so I wish she did it sooner.
● Very enthusiastic and made the class fun. It was very enjoyable and she was down to
earth and relatable.

great job with feedback and updating reminding us of what we had to do.

is very knowledgeable and is prepping me for my future! She connects with the students
on a whole new level!
● Sometime assignments weren’t very clear on what you was looking for or how we should
format them. However, she always responded to emails and answered any questions I
had for clarification.

● The most rewarding and eye opening experience of my college career.

● This is the favorite professor in the University I have learned an abundance of
information, want to take her class again.

● Both Dr. B and Dr. Quast were very helpful during my clinical!
● I enjoyed every minute of class and Dr. B honestly set the mood for it. Even though I was
in different 204-08 from my 05 she always went out of her way for me! Amazing
instructor.
