It is with utmost pleasure and great pride that I am writing this letter of recommendation for Ms

Parvathi Sankaypally for admission into the post graduate program in your university. Currently she

is on the payroll of Jones land LaSalle and based in a client location of Optum global Solutions

Hyderabad. As her reporting Manager in Optum Global solutions, Hyderabad, I have known her

since four years both professionally and personally and hence I have had ample time to analyze,

guide and encourage her on her capabilities.

In my observation, she has the capability to complete tasks assigned to her with minimum guidance,

making her intellectually independent. At the same time, she shows the rare and essential character

to be a team person and work cohesively with her colleagues in achieving the set target. This rare

combination of skills has won her several awards including the “Process Hero Award”, in

appreciation of her dedication and commitment to project deliverables.

She is a meticulous person and can be entrusted to handle critical situations. As the team leader for

her team, she guides his team to test both the positive and negative scenarios to ensure that new

changes do not impact the current sourcing compliance system. Simultaneously she also works on

DAB requests, vendor management SEZ compliance– tasks that are generally handled by more

experienced managers. She shows a lot of interest in defects solving, having not only resolved many

in a short span of time but also making sure that they do not recur in the future. She had also

initiated the procedure of documenting the changes in a lucid way for future reference, which would

be understandable to a non procurement professional too.

Parvathi is a creative person with a passion for learning and new initiates. I would like to highlight an

incident where she initiated a cost saving idea when we were struggling with newly introduced GST

system in India by adding few additional responsibilities for each team member including herself,

instead of hiring an additional staff saving the company around $100,000 per year. She also

demonstrates strong leadership qualities. She proved her caliber as an effective mentor by helping

newly hired interns with knowledge transition and getting up to the speed quickly.
