 Ensayo sobre costos logísticos

Las de ventajas y desventajas de los costos logísticos en la distribución física internacional

se convierte en un tema de preocupación ya que existe la incertidumbre si el producto
llegará o no a su destino final.

En el caso de Colombia, tenemos los centros de acopio, fabricación y comercialización en

el interior del país; lo que significa que la mercancía en varios casos debe atravesar
carreteras y cordilleras para llegar a la zona portuaria si el transporte es marítimo.

Muchas veces el costo interno del transporte en Colombia es más alto que el flete marítimo
internacional, sumándole a éste la inseguridad de nuestras carreteras y la informalidad del
transporte camionero.

Por lo anterior es necesario analizar las opciones de transporte y costos logísticos que
finalmente afectan en gran medida el precio final del producto o mercancía.

En otros casos los costos logísticos de la mercancía aunque sean elevados pasan a un
segundo plano por ejemplo cuando hablamos de un producto perecedero que no puede
superar tiempos establecidos desde un container, así que en este caso el transporte aéreo es
mucho más costoso pero más rápido y seguro.

En Colombia tenemos muchas empresas productoras de excelente calidad dignas de ser

reconocidas a nivel internacional, pero al pensar en la travesía de incursionar en el mundo
exterior y tener que pasar no solo por los filtros de calidad, seguridad, distribución y
normatividad hacen entre otros que el empresario no desee salir del país.

In other cases the logistical costs of the goods even if they are high pass to a second plane
for example when we speak of a perishable product that cannot exceed established times
from a container, so in this case air transport is much more expensive but faster and safer.

In Colombia we have many production companies of excellent quality worthy of being

recognized internationally, but when thinking about the journey of incursing into the
outside world and having to pass through not only the quality filters, the employer does not
wish to leave the country.
