4 cinnamon sticks
4 black cardamom
2 green cardamom
1 Tsp Cloves
4 Bay Leaves

2 Onions Sliced

4 ½ cups of water

Procedure
1. Blend the spices and make powder of it mentioned under Biryani Masala.
2. Take Degh Or patilla add 1 tsp of oil add ginger garlic paste, onions fry it for 2 minutes along
with star anise.
3. Now add the chicken pieces into roast it for 4-5 minutes.
4. Add the blended masala into it and mix nicely.
5. Now add chopped mint leaves and corriander leaves mix well.
6. Now add the soaked millets into it along with water and add the saffron milk.
7. Cover the pot or degh with lid using flour dough to give dum for about 20-25 minutes by
placing it on hot skillet or tawa.
8. Open the lid and serve biryani with raita or Salan.
