My Map
To hit my target, I must do the following task.

Identify the Give some

Examine a dimensions of situation
curriculum the curriculum samples of each
design dimension

My Tools
Borrow a curriculum from the school near your place. Accomplish the samples to show the
dimensions of curriculum design.

BASIC

Equiptable assignment of content, time, experiences and other elements.

Write the contents in one (1) subject are for the first grading period.

The learner listens critically to get information from text heard, demonstrates
independence in using the basic language structure in oral and written
communication, and reads with comprehension
ARTICULATION
Curriculum is arranged vertically or horizontally.

VERTICAL ARTICULATION
Write a sample of content of one (1) topic in a subject are from level to level or grade to
grade.

The learner listens critically to

various text types and
expresses ideas accurately in
both oral and written forms;
demonstrates confidence in
the use of the language to
meet everyday needs; and
reads independently and gets
relevant information from
various text types.
HORIZONTAL ARTICULATION
Association happens among or between elements that happens at the same time.

GRADE 3 GRADE 4
The learners demonstrates understanding of The learners demonstrates an understanding of
speech cues for clear expression of ideas verbal cues for clear expression of ideas

SCOPE
The contents, topics, learning experience and organizing threads of an educational plan.
Write sample topics in a subject area.

Lesson 1: Poetry and Short Stories during the Period of Apprenticeship

(5 days)
SEQUENCE
Content and experiences are arranged in a hierarchical order.
Write a topic arranged from simple to complex.

Lesson 5:Kinds
of Sentences
Lesson 6:Sentence
Pattern
Lesson 7: Cause-Effect
Relationships

Lesson 8:Writing letters

CONTINUITY
Vertical repetition and recurring approaches of the content provide continuity.
Examples of topics in a subject area where content is organized in a spiral fashion
increasing in a breadth and depth.

In a particular subject matter, there are some instances that the past learnings must
reteach in the higher level because it is intertwined to the subject or it is a pre-requisit of a
certain topic. For example in English, the topic is Part of Speech. So, to discuss all the parts
of speech, you should organize first the part of speech to be discussed. Example, here are
the sequence, discuss first the noun, followed by pronoun, next is verb, followed by
adjective and then adverb and so on and so forth.
My Analysis

1. Why is there a need to articulate the lessons from grade school to high school?

Because all of the learnings that the students must acquire are needed in building an
individual with full of knowledge that he/she’ll needed in all aspects of life. And to
make the students from grade school to become aware of what he/she needs to
develop in order to fulfill the remaining room of learning.

My Reflections/ My Insights
As a teacher, I need to understand fully the dimensions of curriculum design because …

It is very essential in implementing the learnings, to make it appropriate

and manageable and to avoid any difficulties that may intercepts an effective and
efficient teaching-learning process.
My Portfolio
Make a curricular web to illustrate that content in the curriculum has no
boundary.
