**The 7th Grade Spelling Bee will be today, Nov. 22, at 9:00am in the library.
The library will be closed during this time.
**JUNIOR CLASS MEETING: Today, Nov. 22, in room 809 during breakfast.
**LETTERMAN JACKETS: The salesman will be here Tues, Nov. 23. The cost is $165. You will have to
pay a $75 deposit to Coach Wright by tomorrow, Nov. 23.

**ELEMENTARY FALL FESTIVAL: The 4th Grade Class will be sponsoring the Elementary Fall Festival
on Tues, Nov. 23, from 1:00-2:30pm. Students may purchase an “unlimited play” hand-stamp for $8 or
purchase tickets at 25¢ each. The hand-stamp will include 2 tickets for the concession stand. All games will
be 1 ticket. All concession items will be 2 tickets.
** STUDENT LUNCHES: Students may bring a “sack” lunch to school in the morning if the student doesn’t
want to eat the lunch provided by the FCS cafeteria. Students are not allowed to have lunches brought
to the school from restaurants or sandwich shops.

**WANTED- ART TEACHER for The Nest, Franklin County School’s after school program.
Hours: 2:30-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. Pay: $16/hr. Must be able to plan & implement art lessons for
grades PreK-8. Drug test & background check required. Complete district employment application, available
on-line at www.franklincountyschoools.org and return application to the School District Office, 85 School Rd,
Suite 1, Eastpoint – Attention: Despina Williams.

**GED CLASSES on Mondays, Tuesdays, & Thursdays (except holidays) from 4:00pm-8:00pm at the
Franklin County Learning Center (the old Brown Elementary).
The next GED TEST will be given Nov. 29 & 30, at the Franklin County School library at 6:00pm.
