malnutrition is 12.1% and poor malnutrition is 8.4%, higher than the prevalence rate in
interventions for malnutrition and poor malnutrition in the health sector was also
conducted by the Pekalongan Community Health Clinic. In 2017 PMT was given from the
aged 6 - 59 months who were given PMT as many as 18 children (56.2%) had increased
body weight, 12 (37.5%) children were of constant weight and 2 (6.3%) children had
decreased weight. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of food
The design used in this study was one group pretest posttest design using the Pre-
experimental approach. The population of this study was toddlers in Gondang Rejo
Village, Pekalongan District, East Lampung Regency in 2019 which amounted to 34,
while the samples taken were 34 people (total sample). Bivariate analysis in this study
was t test analysis (dependent sample t test)
The results obtained p-value <0.05 (p = 0,000), which means that there are significant
differences between the child's weight before and after being given PMT. For this
reason, it is hoped that every year the Pekalongan Community Health Clinic can
implement food supplementary provision programs, and can further improve counseling
