Abstract:

Rationale/Background

17 Students-respondents of Philippine Darakbang Theological

College, 17 students of fourth year.

This study sought to answer the problems, “What is the influence of

English Proficiency to the Academic Performance of the Respondent

students?”

Specifically, in this study, the first problem focused on the

respondents’ profile variables. These are: age and course.

Almighty for His unfailing love and immeasurable mercy and grace for the

accomplishment of this thesis. I would like to acknowledge the cooperation

beginning of my Degree courses.

Rev.Hoi, Kwon Jong, Ph. D. the President of Philippine Darakbang

Theological College to his sincere heart and for supporting us through

prayer. I wish to express my deep gratitude to the Dean of this institution

Dr. Rosalia D. Guadaña, and also to the OIC Ms. Liezel V. Dimalibot for

giving us the opportunity to conduct this Thesis. To our thesis

Adviser/Instructor Dr. Ricky B. Apellido that encourage us to pursue our

study.
