How To Play
On a turn, a player must draw 1 number card and
discard 1 number card
Overview Drawing: You may draw from one of 3 places (1)
Last Set Standing is a tactical 2-4 player card game face-down draw pile; (2) from the face-up discard
which plays in 15-30 minutes. The goal of the game is pile (there is only one discard pile for all players); or
to score the highest points by having a hand of seven (3) face-down “personal bank” (explained below)
(7) Numbers cards at the end of the game which Discarding: You may discard a Number card either
most closely resembles the last Set card remaining at face-up or face-down
the end of the game.
o Discard into your “personal bank” face-down
Components in front of you. A maximum of 3 cards may be
15 Set cards with orange backs. (Each set card in your personal bank at any time. Cards must
has 7 entries on its front (excluding the letter)) be spread out side-by-side for ease of keeping
count.
75 Number cards with black backs. (5 sets of 15
cards, each set numbered 1-15) o If discarded face-up, Number card must be
placed as follows:
Setup i. To fill an “open” Set card entry: If Number
Shuffle Set cards deck, then deal cards face-up in card matches an “open” entry on any of
the middle: 4 cards for 2-player game, 5 cards for the Set cards, it must be placed face-up
3-player game, and 6 cards for 4-player game against the Set card(s) on the outer edge.
(see illustration below) Once a matching Number card is placed
against a Set card, that entry on the Set
card becomes “filled” (ie, no longer
“open”). If there are multiple Set cards with
matching open entry, player places
Number card against any Set card of their
choice
First place Number cards that match set card o 3 points for 1st card
entries face-up on the set card, covering the o 6 points for each additional card
matching entry.
Face down on Set card: 1 point per card
Face down in Personal Bank: Negative 2
points per Number card.
Player with highest score wins. If there is a tie, player
with fewest cards in personal bank wins. If still tied,
player with fewest cards left in hand wins. If still tied,
players share the victory.
