My friends
and all of our community showed up on the steps of the Supreme Court,
with even more members of our community inside making the case for
our future to the highest court in the land.
The reality of what comes next is that we won’t know the Supreme
Court’s decision for a while.
No matter what the ruling is, there will surely be a lot of confusion for
folks who will be affected by it, and we need to be ready to get out the
correct information to our community as soon as possible.
I know we can depend on you, Bernardo. This team showed up in so many ways for our
people yesterday.
Whether it was testifying at the Supreme Court, rallying on the steps to share stories of
what DACA has done for our community, joining in a live stream, or sharing a graphic
online — everyone who participated in any way is a part of the movement that will never
stop in our tireless pursuit of true freedom for our people.
The fight continues, and so do we. Thanks for everything you do to make this team
strong enough to stand up and fight back when our community is under attack.
United We Dream is dedicated to fighting for the rights and lives of nearly 800,000
undocumented people and immigrants and their families across the country. While the
Supreme Court was hearing arguments about the future of DACA yesterday, UWD led
massive rallies and organizing efforts from one coast to the other in solidarity with our
community.
