1. CONSTRUCTION OF KENT BAYWATCH SUITES AT

EDAKOCHI

1.1 Study area

Our proposed site is Kent Baywatch suites, Kent Constructions Pvt. Ltd, Edakochi,
kerala.

1.2 Aim of the project

The aim of the project is to study the structure of the residential building.

2. INTRODUCTION

Kent Baywatch suites is a luxury water front apartment project by kent constructions. It is
a lavish project with an affordable price tag.
Kent Baywatch suites offers all the facilities of a star hotels and also ample scope
for water recreations. It is ideally located, infact it is an eye candy in the backwaters of
Kerala. It is easily accessible and an ideal place to experience the bliss of God’s own
country.

3. SITE DETAILS OF KENT BAYWATCH SUITES

Baywatch suites is a G + 9, 111 apartment project. Floor 1 to 8 have 2 waterfront 2 BHK
of 1422 sq.ft, 6 waterfront 1 BHK of 741 sq.ft, 2 waterfront 1 BHK of 860 sq.ft.

3.1 BASIC AMENITIES

3.2 STRUCTURAL DETAILS

 Foundation
Piles foundations are provided for the structure. There are 143 piles of depth
45.5m with a tolerance of 25 cm. Piles of different diameters like 900 mm,
800mm, 700 mm, 600 mm, 500 mm are used. M 30 grade concrete is used for
piles. Frictional piles are provided. Routine load test is conducted to ensure the
strength. M 25 grade concrete is used for pile cap.
 Super structure
Baywatch consists of G+ 9 floors and there are 111 apartments. Floor 1 to 8 have
2 waterfront 2 BHK of 1422 sq.ft, 6 waterfront 1 BHK of 741 sq.ft, 2 waterfront 1
BHK of 860 sq.ft. solid brick masonry is used for wall construction. Size of main
wall is 30 x 20 x 20 cm and that of partition wall is 30 x 20 x 10 cm. Columns are
made of M 30 grade concrete and slab beams are made of M 20 grade concrete.

4. CONCLUSIONS
Kent Baywatch suites offers a surreal ambience. Each apartment provides a private
backwater retreat. Infact, it is a perfect blend of luxury, beauty and class.
