Architectural drawings are made according to a set of conventions, which include particular views (floor
plan, section etc.), sheet sizes, units of measurement and scales, annotation and cross referencing.
An architectural drawing or architect's drawing is a technical drawing of a building (or building project)
that falls within the definition of architecture. ... Today the vast majority of drawings are created using
CAD software.
The floor plan may depict an entire building, one floor of a building, or a single room. It may also include
measurements, furniture, appliances, or anything else necessary to the purpose of the plan. Floor plans
are useful to help design furniture layout, wiring systems, and much more.
A site plan is an architectural plan, landscape architecture document, and a detailed engineering
drawing of proposed improvements to a given lot. ... Site plans are often prepared by a design
consultant who must be either a licensed engineer, architect, landscape architect or land surveyor".
It is essential that building plans are really “buildable”. For a homeowner that means the plan can be
built on time and budget. For the contractor that means reliable plans that can allow them to focus on
their craft and provide the homeowner with the best possible outcome.
All of our plans are designed by licensed architects and residential building designers. Each plan is
designed to meet nationally recognized building codes for the year they were created.
No two plans are the same. We strongly encourage you to contact us for the contents of any plan you
may be interested in purchasing.
