Pada akhir pembelajaran, siswa dapat:

Procedure text is a text which gives instructions on how to do something.

(1) Use of imperative : e.g. Enter. Insert, Mix, Cut, Stir
(2) Use of Adverbs : e.g. Slowly. quickly, carefully, lightly

(4) speech, words stress, intonation, when presented orally.
e. Topics
How to cook, do the games, use or operate equipment, projects, etc.
By giving the example of the behavior discipline, efficient, environmental friendly, respo
nsibility.
f. Example of procedural text
Goal : “How to make mango juice”
Materials :
a piece of mango
a half glass of water
a glass of ice pack
a spoon of sugar
blender/juicer
Steps :
First, peel the mango carefully and clean it.
Next, cut the mango pieces and put them into the juicer.
Then, put the water, ice and sugar.
 After that, turn on the juicer and wait about 15 seconds.
Finally, pour the mango juice into the glass and ready to drink.
g. Sing a song
The procedure text tells how to make something, its purpose is to tell the steps, the
language features using imperative, the generic structure is a goal, material and step.
(Rhyme uses “Kasih Ibu”)

4. Langkah-langkah Kegiatan
A. Kegiatan Pendahuluan
- Guru menyapa siswa menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk membangun suasana belajar
bahasa inggris.
- Guru dan siswa berdoa, mengecek kehadiran, dan mempersiapkan untuk belajar.
Apersepsi :
- Tanya jawab tentang minuman seperti jus, teh dan kopi yang menjadi latar belakang
dalam monolog yang akan dibahas untuk membangun konteks materi yang akan
dipelajari.
Motivasi :
- Menjelaskan pentingnya materi yang akan dipelajari berikut kompetensi yang harus
dikuasai siswa.
B. Kegiatan Inti
Eksplorasi
Dalam kegiatan eksplorasi, guru:
- Menulis lagu yang berkaitan dengan teks dipapan tulis, kemudian dinyanyikan
bersama-sama.
- Menjelaskan lirik setiap lagu dengan melengkapi materi pembelajaran procedural text
secara lebih mendalam, seperti pengertian, fungsi sosial dan ciri kebahasaan.
- Memberikan sebuah contoh procedural text dengan memancing siswa menggunakan
pertanyaan.
- Menerapkan metode completing story dengan pengaplikasian pada procedural text.
Guru menunjuk setiap siswa untuk meneruskan tujuan, bahan-bahan, dan langkah-
langkah secara lisan sesuai dengan topik yang diberikan.
 Elaborasi
Dalam kegiatan elaborasi, guru:
- Menunjukan beberapa makanan dan minuman yang dibawanya.
- Membentuk kelompok yang terdiri dari 4 siswa, kemudian dibimbing untuk membuat
monolog pendek sederhana procedural text terkait dengan makanan dan minuman
tersebut.
- Setiap kelompok menuliskan procedural text pada kertas yang disediakan, kemudian
beberapa kelompok mempresentasikan didepan kelas, dan guru memilih penampilan
terbaik.

Konfirmasi
Dalam kegiatan konfirmasi, guru:
- Memberikan umpan balik positif dan penguatan dalam bentuk lisan, tulisan, isyarat,
maupun hadiah terhadap keberhasilan peserta didik.
- Memberikan konfirmasi terhadap hasil eksplorasi dan elaborasi peserta didik melalui
berbagai sumber.
- Memfasilitasi peserta didik melakukan refleksi untuk memperoleh pengalaman
belajar yang telah dilakukan.
- Guru bertanya jawab tentang hal-hal yang belum diketahui siswa.
- Guru bersama siswa bertanya jawab meluruskan kesalahan pemahaman, memberikan
penguatan dan penyimpulan.

C. Kegiatan Penutup
Dalam kegiatan penutup, guru:
- bersama-sama dengan peserta didik dan/atau sendiri membuat rangkuman/simpulan
pelajaran;
- melakukan penilaian dan/atau refleksi terhadap kegiatan yang sudah dilaksanakan
secara konsisten dan terprogram;

Steps:
