 1. Past Future Tense
Past future tense adalah bentuk ungkapan atau kalimat yang merupakan suatu tindakan/peristiwa yang
diprediksi, direncanakan, dijanjikan, diharapkan atau wajib dilakukan di masa depan yang telah lalu.

2. Past Future Perfect Tense

Past future perfect tense adalah bentuk kalimat yang berfungsi untuk mengekspresikan gagasan di
masa lalu yang mana bahwa suatu tindakan/peristiwa yang diprediksi, direncanakan, dijanjikan,
diharapkan atau telah dilakukan sebelum waktu tertentu di masa depan dari sudut pandang masa lalu
tetapi faktanya bahwa gagasan itu belum terbukti benar atau gagasan itu tidak terlaksana sesuai
dengan yang diinginkan.

Dalam tata Bahasa Inggris, bentuk tense ini bisa juga di gunakan untuk menggambarkan dan
menunjukkan suatu kemungkinan kejadian atau keadaan di masa lampau, contohnya : “The girl looks
sad. She may have waited for his boyfriend for hours”.

3. Past Future Continuous Tense

Past future continuous tense atau di sebut juga Past future progressive adalah bentuk kalimat suatu
kejadian/keadaan pada waktu yang akan sedang terjadi pada waktu lampau.
Dalam penggunaanya past future continuous tense di gunakan untuk menggambarkan atau
menjelaskan peristiwa atau keadaan dalam imajinasi kita pada waktu yang akan sedang terjadi di
masa lalu, dan hal tersebut belum selesai dilakukan.

4. Past Future Perfect Continuous Tense

Past future perfect continuous tense kata kerja yang menerangkan suatu peristiwa atau
pekerjaan yang akan sudah dan masih sedang dilakukan pada masa lalu dan tak ada
hubungannya dengan masa sekarang.
Waktu dari suatu peristiwa atau pekerjaan dalam past future perfect continuous
tense biasanya diketahui dan terukur, selama berapa lama, dari jam berapa sampai jam
berapa, dari hari apa sampai hari apa, dan ini merupakan salah satu perbedaan tense ini
dengan Future perfect continuous tense.
