Code supply 82A
Since 1st June 2005 there has been a single service available for supplying the following codes:
●
Engine immobiliser
●
Radio
●
Reprogramming key (NRE)
●
Video network

This service is Code Management on RENAULT NET or importers' RENAULT NET.

Information required for use:

Immobiliser code:
VIN (17 characters)
Key head number (old vehicles, 8 characters maximum)
Programming key supplied by the diagnostic tool for CLIO III from CD 59.

Note:
This key head number is required if the 4-digit code supplied by the code server does not correspond to the vehicle;
the key head number + the VIN can be used to recalculate the new 4-digit code.

Radio code:
VIN (17 characters)
Pre-code or radio part number reference

Pre-code if the first code obtained using the VIN is not correct
Pre-code = 1 letter + 3 digits

Radio without pre-code:

Radio supplier: Philips/Blaupunkt/Pioneer/Alpine/Becker

Radio part number reference:

Philips = RN + 3 digits + 2 letters + 7 digits
Blaupunkt = BP + 4 digits + 1 letter + 7 digits
Pioneer = RN2006 + 1 letter + 7 digits or 1 letter + 7 digits (old models)
Alpine = AL + 9 digits
Becker = B or E + 7 digits

Video network code:

VIN (17 characters)
4-digit code supplied by the video network

Reprogramming key:
VIN (17 characters)
Reprogramming key supplied by the diagnostic tool

2.1 Immobiliser code:

→ enter VIN + programming key supplied by the diagnostic tool for CLIO III from CD 59.
→ confirm with Search button
→ immobiliser code supplied as:
4 digits (old vehicles)
8 digits (MEGANE 1 and AVANTIME only)
12 characters (digits and letters)
13 characters (digits and letters for CLIO III from CLIP CD 59)

Following an attempt to enter the code in the vehicle radio, if the code supplied is not correct, search for the radio's
pre-code:
Depending on the type of radio, recover the pre-code:
● either from the radio display using the self-test procedure

● or by removing the radio; the pre-code is found on the label affixed to the radio.

Note:
The pre-code consists of a letter and three digits (example below N557).
