Automatic Freight Unit Building
Specifies if freight unit building is performed automatically after the system saves the business document.

Use
You decide whether the system performs freight unit building automatically.

If you work with forwarding orders or forwarding quotations, note the following:

 If automatic freight unit building is not possible, or if you prefer to start this action manually, you can do
so on the user interface of the business document. However, we recommend that you activate
automatic freight unit building.

 In the standard system, freight unit building is performed automatically only if relevant changes have
been made to the document (for example, you have added a cargo item). You can use the Business
Add-In (BAdI) BAdI: Extension of Checks for Triggering FU Building from TRQ
(/SCMTMS/TRQ_CHECK_FUB) to override this standard behavior. For example, you can define that
freight unit building is executed each time the forwarding order is saved or before an action is executed
that requires a freight unit or transportation unit.

Stage Profile
Determines how the system is to create stages for freight units.

Use
A stage profile contains stage types, the sequence of the stage types, and certain properties of the stages.

Dependencies
 If you work with forwarding orders or forwarding quotations, you can assign a stage profile directly to a
business document type. Alternatively, you can assign a stage profile to a condition and then assign
the condition to a business document type. If you do both in the same business document type, the
condition always takes priority over the directly assigned stage profile.

The condition type for stage profiles is Stage Profile (/SCMTMS/TRQ_STG_PRF).

 If you work with business documents from Sales and Distribution, Logistics Execution, and Materials
Management, you can assign a stage profile to your logistics integration profile. Alternatively, you can
assign a stage profile to a condition and then assign the condition to your logistics integration profile. If
you do both in the same logistics integration profile, the condition always takes priority over the directly
assigned stage profile.
