ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

PROJECT I’M AWARE

I. INTRODUCTION
The school is considered as a second home for all learners. It does
not only concentrate on proper child rearing but it also focuses on the
development of every individual in all aspects.
Lemery Pilot Elementary School, being one of the most prominent
schools in the whole country, evidently aims to produce not just
academically excellent pupils but also the kind of learners who are
worthy enough to be future leaders.
The Supreme Pupil Government is the foremost co-curricular
student organization authorized to operate and implement pertinent
projects, programs and activities in schools all over the country. It lays
the groundwork for good governance, volunteerism, unity and
cooperation by providing the students various venues where they can
improve their leadership knowledge, skills and attitudes. It also develops
and trains students to become better members of the society in
accordance with the ideals and principles of participatory democracy
and good leadership.

II. RATIONALE
The Philippines is considered a disaster prone country because it
lies in the “Pacific Ring of Fire”. The country experienced earthquakes,
tsunamis, volcanoes, and super typhoons in the past and may
experience them in the future.
Natural disasters come and go, and we shall be battered time
and again due to environment changes like global warming resulting
from El Nino and La Nina. This we cannot prevent as we are hapless and
helpless when nature pours its wrath and fury.
In accordance with Deped Order 21, series 2015-Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Coordination, the Supreme Pupil
Government of LPES embraced it by creating a project which aims to
enlighten the mind of every learners on how they will cope up with the
situation when different calamities occur.
The Project “I’m Aware” was designed to

The Supreme Pupil Government has the following objectives:

 To train students to become the best leaders and citizens along


the ideas and principles of participative democracy.
 To help students develop leadership skills and values
 To strengthen the student, serve and protect their right and
welfare.
 To harness the Supreme Pupil Government as a partner in
achieving quality education and academic excellence.

III. HIGHLIGHTS AND PROJECT ACCOMPLISHED


Lemery Pilot Elementary School’s Supreme Pupil Government
Officers SY _____ had initiated the campaign for disaster and calamities
preparedness measures. The officers came up with this great idea
because of their concern and responsibility for the safety of the learners.
This project is an information-dissemination program through multi-
media digital presentation. During lunch break, SPG officers play a
presentation about the thing that should be done before, during and
after a disaster. Once a month, they have a video-clip viewing which
tackles the calamities that everyone might experiences as well as its
effect to people and community. With this, students aware of the do’s
and don’ts if there is a disaster and make them ready in times of
emergency. So, this project in the school was given ultimate
importance.
All pupils, teachers and even the administrators willingly supported
this endeavor thru the initiative of the SPG President; ___________ and the
support of her co-officials.
It is not easy to be an officer of one big organization because of
the huge responsibility that everyone must do and take but practicing
cooperation, participation and support in every dwellings,
unexpectable best outcomes will surely be observable.

IV. RECOMMENDATIONS
The following were recommended of the Supreme Pupil
Government for further enhancement and improvement of their skills:

 Have a regular monitoring of the campaign launched and


see to it that full cooperation is exhibited by the school
children.
 Conduct more in-service lectures and seminars on disaster
preparedness measures to ensure that all school personnel
including the students will have complete knowledge
about the execution of the project.
 Encourage and support the participation of students in the
activity.
 Launch additional projects and programs which maybe
related or not to the on-going project.

V. CONCLUSION

Lemery Pilot Elementary School’s SPG has already initiated


a project that is found to be effective and beneficial to the
school and the entire studentry as well. Advisers and the other
people involved in the Supreme Pupil Government should
continue to harness and exert extra effort to make each project
worthwhile and safeguard the full implementation and massive
participation in the activities and projects dispatched. It is
therefore evident that cooperation, participation and positive
actions are contributory factors in the realization and
achievement of a successful project or activity.
