Prathibha Group of Institutions, an institution of academic

year 1999. The college is affiliated to Osmania University and is considered as one of the

21st century skills and aptitude required for academic excellence but also furnish them
with the ability to face the challenges of life in a balanced and harmonious way.

In the 21st century, the education scenario is changing by leaps and bounds.
Experimentation seems to dominate the zone of the teaching-learning process. Today
there is a paradigm shift in the whole process of education. As understood rightly,

Commerce Lab
Well equipped Commerce Lab Provides
Practical Exposure of the processes and
procedures followed by organizations in
conducting commercial practices. The lab
provides practical orientation to students by
linking the subject syllabus with practical
training in the lab. The commerce laboratory is
a new concept wherein students practice their
theoretical knowledge gained in the class Room
Chemistry Lab
The department offers four spacious
laboratories having the required infrastructure
for undergraduate curriculum. The labs have all
the reagents and chemicals required for
projects. These Chemistry Labs are fully
equipped with required number of Instruments,
glass ware and with sufficient quantity of
chemicals.

Physics Lab
Physics lab introduces students to basic topics such as electricity and magnetism,
optics, and modern physics. Students acquire a basic understanding of all these areas
through experiments designed to reinforce the lectures. All of these topics are
indispensable to the careers pursued by the diverse body of professional interests
represented in our students, both majors and non-majors. Students with these skills
and knowledge are in high demand in many professions (health sciences, pharmacy,
education, engineering, aeronautics, etc.).

The Electronics laboratory has all necessary
facilities for conducting experiments of basic
electronics by the UG students with different
training kits and general purpose equipments

 Admissions
Admission rules
 The candidates should fill in the application forms in their own
handwriting.
 Candidates should fill separate application forms for each group.
 Application must be registered in the college on or before the
prescribed date announced by the college in the local dailies.
Documents for admission
Candidates should submit their application forms along with one
set of the following certificates
 Transfer certificate from the institution where the candidate last
studied.
 Recent passport size photograph.
 SSC & inter memorandum of marks.
 Migration certificate by students coming from universities other
than Osmania University.
 Bonafied certificate.
 Aadhar card.
 Income certificate of the parent/guardian.
 Nativity certificate from mandal revenue officer.
 Caste/community certificate from an officer, not below the rank of
mandal revenue officer.
 Sports, NCC, NSS, cap and PH if available.
Important information
1. The fee paid by the candidate shall not be refunded under any
circumstances nor adjusted for future admissions whether the
student attends the classes or not.
 Change of medium will be permitted at the degree level if the
candidate has secured a minimum of 40% marks in English in the
qualifying examination. (i.e., Intermediate Public Examination or its
equivalent).
 Optional subjects, and the Second Language once selected by the
candidate cannot be changed after the closing date of admission
as declared by the Osmania University.
Attendance
Each student is required to maintain minimum of 75% attendance in
each subject including both theory and practicals. Student short of this
required minimum attendance will not be allowed to appear for
university exam. The list of students, short of attendance will be put on
the notice board and parents will be informed about the same. Hence
students are strictly advised to ensure regularity in attendance thereby
avoiding an unpleasant situation resulting in the loss of an academic
year.
Change of address & Contact No.
In case of change in permanent / contact address, students are
required to incorporate the same in the Registration cards to be filled
by them at the beginning of every academic year. If there is a change in
the middle of the year, students can forward an application for change
of address to the college office through the Administrative Officer.

 Discipline and Conduct
 The Principal has complete powers to maintain discipline in the
college.
 Students should carry their identity cards with them and produce
them whenever demanded by the authorities.
 The Principal may impose fine, suspend or expel a student from the
college in case of indiscipline or violent misbehaviour or gross
insubordination and violation of college rules and regulations.
 A student who is irregular to the classes is liable to forfeit his claim
towards
a) May not eligible to submit the exam form
b) Scholarship
c) other concessions
d) eligibility to represent the college / university in sports and
games.
 The Principal may discontinue or cancel scholarships or any
financial aid, to a student on grounds of irregularity.
 Parents should keep in touch with the principal from time to time
and know the progress, punctuality and regularity in attendance of
their wards.
 Students are expected to keep the college campus neat and clean.
Writing on the walls and damaging the college property is
prohibited. Strict silence should be observed in the college
premises. Any damage or loss caused to the college property will
be recovered from the student after identification of person
responsible and enquiry.
 Bringing outsider into college premises without obtaining prior
permission from the principal is deemed as misconduct.
 Ragging in and around the college premises is strictly forbidden.
The students who are found involved in ragging will be punished
and expelled from the college immediately.
 Organising any activity without principal’s permission in writing
constitutes to misconduct.
 The hall ticket for the university exam will be issued to the student
only after he/she submits a no due certificate, signed by all the
respective authorities.
 Using of cell phones in the campus is strictly prohibited, if any
student is found possessing it, the cell phone will be seized.
Scholarships
Candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC/ Muslim minority & EBC students
can apply for scholarships as per Government directives. Such
candidates have to apply in the prescribed application form, which will
be duly forwarded by the college office to the authorities concerned for
