Looking back to all the experiences I had in my Industrial Setting, from any form of adjustment to
complying to all the task given to me as an intern, life lessons were acquired. My experience in
Philippine Veterans Affairs Office taught me how to bring myself. It includes the discipline I have
laid for myself in accordance to their rules, the preparation of my heart in doing things especially
new to me, the attitude I have to people even faced with my own struggles along the way and all
the more to give this setting a consideration to my plans I have in my future career. When I envision
my future working in a company, I always see myself wearing a fashionable semi-formal attire or
a smart casual. A good combination of clothes everyday is a must in order for me to rock the day.
It boosts my confidence, I trust myself more and it makes me love what I am doing. For me, it is
a declaration that today-is-going-to-be-a-great-day. In PVAO, I have come to practice that and true
enough it kept me motivated and on fire looking forward to each day. We really have to know who
we are even if of little things, because sometimes it it is where our fire being flamed on resulting
to so much fruits. Moreover, feeling good about myself makes me get more involved with people
around me. It is another joy to see them happy and light at work as well and even if not for a day,
I look forward to an opportunity in passing the lightness, motivation and love in any way possible.
PVAO taught me to value every position and every person in the company: to appreciate every
season and the process. In a government company, you really have to be patient when it comes to
the growth of your career, but within that process, the character is built. My industrial setting
experience prepared me to bring up my strength and use them for something with most value.
