Bowling - B Loughnane 21-4-5/77, M Snaith 14-3-1/32, D

Ballan continued steady batting this week against tight
bowling early, they could not form partnerships and lost
wickets at a steady rate before Jack Landt and Hayden
Micallef came together to make a 97-run partnership. Michael
Vallance then joined Jack Landt making a valuable 45 run
partnership, Jack providing smart batting with Michael
backing him up with excellent running. Unfortunately,
Ballan fell 2 runs short.

Bowling - E Boland 3-3-1/0, A McIlwaine 2-0-1/5, C

A great effort in the field by the boys with a super fielding
effort by Ned Loft with two great run outs. A great bowing
effort by all including a brilliant catch by Jack Jarvis. The
game continues next week. Hayden Micallef hits a four during his partnership of 97 with
Jack Landt. He scored solidly, finishing on 38, before being
trapped LBW.

Bowling - J Burton 2-0-2/6, B Davenport 2-0-1/6, J Cornwill
2-0-1/8, T Norman 3-0-1/14.
Ballan was a little untidy with the bowling in the first 5
overs conceding 29 runs. The change in bowlers found their
line and length with the rest of the team following with
St Anthony’s only scoring another 38 runs in the next 14
overs before rain stopped play. It was extremely rewarding
watching Sarah Burton, James Burton, Noah Britton and Tom
Norman back their fielding skills on the fastest field we had
played on all season and continue to aggressively attack the
ball building pressure on the opposition.
